Courteney Cox certainly brought something new to the red carpet instead of her usual head-to-toe black, when she attended the 2011 Critics’ Choice Television Awards back in June wearing a Lanvin python-print silk dress.
The ‘Cougar Town’ actress ensured the print was the stand out part of her look.
Her dress wasn’t overshadowed by fussy accessories as she only added a waist defining light-grey grosgrain belt and black strappy sandals.
Kate Moss wore the same Lanvin dress whilst out to dinner at Zuma in London with BFF Sir Phillip Green and her husband Jamie Hince.
The Moss magic was in full effect as she pulls off this effortlessly casual look in her trademark, ‘shabby chic’, ‘just threw this on’ style.
Her dress was paired with a Chanel handbag, Christian Louboutin’s heels and a white blazer.
I think both the ladies look great.
Courtney gets points for breaking out of her comfort zone, but I prefer how Kate wore this as a drop-waist dress so she wins for me.

I like Kate’s style more than Couteney’s, but I actually prefer Courteney’s way of wearing this dress; I think it looks better without the jacket!
Courtney Cox for me.
I wish Courteney had worn better sandals with this dress. Then my vote would have gone to her. But now, I vote for Kate Moss.
I prefer Court’s shoes but the belt doesn’t quite do it for me….I’m not really liking Kate’s blazer…it’s a tie really but I voted for Court in the end, she’s not wearing black so it’s a win for her.
I hated this on Courtney. It doesn’t flatter her at all. Kate made this dress work well with the rest of her outfit.
It’s Kate for me. I prefer the dress with the belt off.
Oooh I love how Kate wore it! The white blazer is so chic! She wins for me too.
Very close, couldn`t decide. But Kate`s overly “effortless, shabby chic“ messy bleached hair with dark roots threw me off her look, and made me vote for Courtney.
