Fan Bing Bing chose this pretty Alberta Ferretti Fall 2010 dress to attend an event during the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.
The gorgeous pleated dress features jewelled detailing around the neck and waistline and has long, tiered sleeves.
The Asian actress didn’t over-accessorize this outfit as she only added simple nude pumps, diamond earrings and a black time piece.
Glossy hair and simple makeup completed her stunning look.
Elisabeth Moss picked the same dress to wear to The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Annual Luncheon earlier this month.
She paired the dress with metallic peep-toe heels, a stone grey clutch and diamond stud earrings.
Elisabeth wore her newly-dyed brunette hair down and loose and kept her makeup light, wearing a pretty shade of pink on her lips.
I love the way Fan styled the sleeves and think the overall fit is much better on her, so she’s definitely getting my vote.
Elisabeth undoubtedly looks gorgeous hair and make-up wise but I think the dress is overwhelming her small frame. I also wish she had gone with a different coloured clutch.

Folks, on a side note, remember that Fan Bing Bing’s name is not Fan, it’s Bing Bing. Her surname is Fan and her forename is Bing Bing – it’s the way Chinese names are put, with the surname first.
Yes, and that still makes her name Fan Bingbing. Only people who are very familiar with a Chinese person call that person by their first name. First it’s the full name (Fan Bingbing), when you get to know someone better it’s Fan, then it would be Bingbing….

I’m not a fan of this dress… On the runway, it looks OK, but on the red carpet, it fails to excite me. However, I think Fan Bing Bing wore it better.
Fan Bing Bing always looks amazing no matter what she wears. However, I do agree that this dress looks better on a taller woman. On a shorter woman, it just looks very dowdy.
