Finally, A Colour Other Than Black Award
Olivia Wilde ended her depressing run of wearing only black gowns on the red carpet at the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards which was held in LA yesterday.
The ‘Cowboys & Aliens’ star opted for a minty Chloé Resort 2012 gown.
Her pleated dress with a keyhole detail was paired with cream Raven Kauffman Couture embroidered clutch and grey Jimmy Choo ‘Crown’ peep-toes.
Unfortunately it’s not enough that Olivia didn’t wear black as she fails to breathe any life into this look.
She’s missing her mojo. It’s been lost since she started the promo tour for her latest movie.

Really thought she couldn’t get worse…until this – oh dear, sack the stylist, do something, ANYTHING!
I’m starting to get Eva Mendes deja vu here, she’s wearing loose fitting, covered up designs a lot during this promo tour and it’s aging her like crazy. Please bring back the young Olivia please.
I said please twice…well I’m desperate haha
the hair and the sleeves just don’t work for her! i miss old olivia! on a more positive note i’m glad she ditched the red lipstick
I agree, the bangs have to be the worst part!
I much preffer the lenght on the runaway version. Maybe it would have helped.
+1
This is better but still not working.
i think the worst is the hair.
It’s just…bad choice
I like the IDEA of it, but it just doesn’t work. Also, I like the original version more.
I am agree. Nice idea, poor execution
I don’t understand why she continues to dress like a “slutty semi-Victorian grandma” :S
Exactly! She’s well and truly frumpified herself.
OMG! It’s getting worse.
If she wears this http://www.style.com/slideshows/2011/fashionshows/2012RST/MARCHESA/RUNWAY/07m.jpg at the Emmys and she does something to these bangs,I will forget everything bad from her past.
I wish she’d get out of her fashion funk.
Totally.
I can’t blame it on black dresses anymore.
She’s in a total funk as you say
lovely on jacqulyn, but total disaster on Olivia ! wrong lenght, bad hairstyle, she looks like a cheap 80′s actress..she always looks bad on red carpet
“She’s missing her mojo. It’s been lost since she started the promo tour for her latest movie.” OMG! Exactly what i was thinking!! Lately she’s been picking outfits that make her look older
It may not be black but still depressing, a grandma “trying- to be sexy- in a nightgown – depressing (that shapeless slit down the middle her chest is hideous!) “. The bangs hurt my eyes, they do NOT suit her face at all! What`s wrong with her (or her stylist)…she looks horrible!
The length of the dress makes her look very, very short. If it had fallen mid-calf, similar to the model, the look would have at least been bearable. Here she just looks so stumpy.
I agree with the critic – this dress does nothing for Olivia and she has lost her mojo. The dress is designed for movement – hence the model’s picture – and Olivia is just standing there looking swallowed in fabric. I’m less than impressed…
That’s not a keyhole, it’s more like a manilla envelope slot.
I know she’s a model and everything, but I have to say that Jacquelyn Jablonski looks 10000000000 times better than Olivia in this Chloe dress. And I agree, Olivia has lost her mojo. The only look I cared for was her fringed Gucci gown at the photo call which she should have saved for the following premiere.
