There was yet another LBD on the red carpet last night, this time courtesy of Katie Holmes.
She was in New York City for the premiere of her latest movie, “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.”
Katie wore a simple black halter dress from her own Holmes & Yang collection.
Whilst Katie looks beautiful…blah, blah, blah…the dress is identical to the dress she wore to the LA Film Festival back in June.
Katie has always been incredibly bland to me, but this sinks to a new low.
I thought Cameron Diaz had the most uninspiring promo tour, but that prize now goes to Katie.
The v-neck dress black dress was teamed with nude Alexandre Birman heels.
On the plus side I do like her curly hair.

She looks beautiful but its as though she has worn exactly the same outfit. Even the necklace/bracelet/ring are same as LA Film Festive and the shoes look pretty similar. I’m surprised no one told her this before the premiere!!
i don’t mind her look here and it’s definitely one of the better pieces of her “collection”, but i must say that she has such a schizophrenic style. There is no cohesive line or confident choices, it’s all over the map.

I agree. I think she’s becoming a beautiful woman, but she has no sense of style, and her collection looks quite cheap, there isn’t an interesting piece in the whole collection.
The only remotely exciting thing she’s done fashion wise is cutting her hair into a bob.

OMG, I just posted in the old thread of the LA film Festival. Sure the dresses are so alike, I got confused!
She is very incosistent in her fashion, usually choosing unflattering things. I do really believe he has no stylist who tells her the truth of how bad she looks sometimes. All that money…

Yawn, yawn, yawn. She’s never had nor will have any style and it proves once and for all, style does not need money, if there was still any doubt.
Her hair IS beautiful here though.
She used to be kind of quirky and bold. I didn’t always agree with her choices, but it was fun watching her experiment. It all seemed to stop once she got married. Now it feels like she’s trying too hard to be someone other than her true self.
Well she did mention in a couple interviews that her daughter chooses her outfits for her, so maybe that’s why she always looks so bland and inconsistent (lol!)
Yawn – this dress is so basic it’s barely even been designed. Killer accessories were required to create any interest at all here, and she’s given us nothing.
Had to chuckle at all the previous comments to mine. So true -Katie is very uninspiring. I would never look twice at her.

Lousy actress, terrible mother, untalented designer, average looking woman. The only thing she has going for her is her height, her hair and a sweet smile. Maybe she just needs to stay at home and be a mother.
