Zooey Deschanel paired Christian Louboutin nude patent Simple pumps with an Alice + Olivia one shoulder black and white dress at the FOX All-Star Party.
I agree with many of the comments from the original post; why the nude shoes?
Shoes Zooey Should Have Worn:
Oscar de la Renta’s black satin slingback sandals are simple and elegant. This heel is from the Fall 2011 collection and would’ve been a lovely choice for Zooey.
If Zooey wanted to stick with a pump the satin Brian Atwood ‘Teodora’ is a fabulous alternative. These pumps would have worked much better than the nude Louboutin heels.
Christian Dior’s Spring 2011 heels complement the embroidered taffeta top on Zooey’s dress. These statement heels would have transformed her outfit from blah to Ooh la la.
Manolo Blahnik’s ‘Nipotta’ heels match Zooey’s personality and her dress. The ‘Nipotta’ is from Blahnik’s Fall 2011 collection and feature a metallic silver tie.

I propose a hair, dress and shoe swap.
agreed 100%
Agree agree.
And next would be a celebrity swap, I think.
I picked the Manolos because the silver trim somehow connects with the border at the bottom of Zooey’s dress and I like that effect.
I *LOVE* these shoe swap posts. Thank you, and keep up the good work!
The Christian Dior sandals are beautiful and would complement really well her dress! I vote for them, although I also like the Manolo Blahnik’s.
Christian Dior sandals, REALLY? The patterns of them definitely don’t work with the dress which is already so detailed. This is one of those times where simple is better and I am not one of those minimalist kind of girls — nowhere near. I think gold or champagne satin d’orsay pumps would be a better option than those shown above, but of those four listed the Brian Atwood pumps would be best.
