Busy Philipps attended the “30 Minutes or Less” LA Premiere last night in Hollywood.
The ‘Cougar Town’ actress boldly took on mixing prints which isn’t an easy thing to do.
She paired an olive Anthropologie grid printed top with a Topshop leaf print midi skirt
Beachy waves, a yellow necklace, a Madewell tan belt and matching Topshop platform sandals completed the look.
I don’t know which I hate more.
The skirt or her fact that this whole look is not flattering on Busy who does have an amazing figure.

I can see the look that she was trying to go for. I feel that if she would have put a little effort into the hair and make up it would have helped. Also, she should have gotten a size smaller in each piece.
I only like the sandals. Everything else is atrocious.
this is the most disgusting outfit I’be seen in a long time…she has a lovely face though
The fit is the worst offender in this look, fix that and things would improve alot….
Agreed, the fit is killing this look. It’s sad because she’s got a slammin’ body.
Agreed – a size down in each piece would make a huge difference. The outfit itself isn’t a bad idea, although I’m not sure the yellow necklace is necessary.
i seem to be in the minority, but i actually like this outfit. In my opinion she manages to pull the two prints of nicely and i like the shoes and belt with it.
I agree. I think it’s a cute outfit that a regular woman would wear on the street. Perhaps not red-carpet style, but perfectly cute.
Agreed! Maybe it’s also the yellow and black colors behind her complementing the skirt, but I think the geometric print and loose fit of the top works with the abstract print but fitted silhouette of the skirt! And then the necklace, belt, and shoes give it more character as bohemian and fun!
i liked it as well! i think the belt maybe should have separated her top from skirt instead of sitting there with nothing to do, but i liked how she coordinated her outfit here
Just a bad idea all around
if the skirt can have another shape, less volume, and the belt separate the whole look not just the skirt, it could be more flattering, i thing so :s
She looks…busy.
LOL… my thoughts exactly!
I actually like this look a lot.
The only thing I really dislike is the belt, which is not sitting on the right place. Other than that, it’s an ok look, though there’s some room for improvement with the hair.
It’s obvious that she wanted to take a fashion risk, but it didn’t turn out well. The way the belt is placed on the skirt is a bit awkward and I feel the skirt is sitting too high. But the thing that instantly bugged me was the yellow necklace. So unnecessary.
I took another look at the necklace and thought that the yellow necklace isn’t too bad. It’s more the second necklace she’s wearing that makes the yellow one look too much.
the real issue is who paid $110 dollars for the skirt
Agreed
this would work for me if the shape of the skirt were more fitted, like a pencil skirt. both the top and bottom being loose and flowy makes her look a bit messy.
Everything goes together very well and I really, really like the overall look UH LOT. The fit, I guess, could be better but it’s not terrible. That may just may be what she’s going for. Besides the so-so fit, it’s a really great outfit. Can’t believe this many people dislike it so much though.
I know! I love the way the prints work together.
30 minutes or less – how long she took to get ready?!
Don’t you think she’s aiming for a kind of DIY version of this Prada look: http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2011/06/29/who-wore-prada-better-eva-mendes-or-elle-macpherson/
ewww what a hideous outfit!! WTF was this chic thinkin?!?!?
This is not good. It’s so unflattering and nothing matches.
