Here are the rest of the looks from the 2011 Teen Choice Awards.
Zooey Deschanel: This Miu Miu nude and black floral-printed dress with ruffled trim which is incredibly unflattering on Zooey. Miu Miu glitter heels and a black clutch accessorized her look. She styled her hair in soft waves and added some red lipstick.
Shay Mitchell: The actress turned up the heat on the red carpet wearing a DKNY red satin shirt with a DKNY paillette covered mini skirt. I wish the accessories had been a tad more adventurous.
Lucy Hale: This black and nude sparkly Cengiz Abazoglu dress is almost completely backless. Lucy wore patent leather Giuseppe Zanotti heel-less shoes and sported the biggest beauty trends by painting her nails in an ombre style.
AnnaSophia Robb: The young nominated actress wore Malandrino dress. Her flirty, peach and pink two-toned one-shoulder dress with a black leather strap was paired with very basic black pumps.
Cat Deeley: The blonde TV presenter wore a refreshing mint blue lace Matthew Williamson dress with nude Jimmy Choo ‘Louisa’ platforms strappy sandals. She sure does love showing off her legs and who can blame her.
Avril Lavigne: The wild singer wore an LBD from her own Abbey Dawn collection. If this is all it takes to design your own collection, maybe we should all give it ago. Stars and striped peep-toes completed her look.

I don’t think i’ve ever liked anything on Zooey Daechanel, she always looks like a Raggedy Anne doll and this is no exception.
I don’t know Shay Mitchell but I like her look.
Everyone else fails which hurts because I usually love Cat Deeley.
If Lucy Hale’s dress is completely backless then it’s in trashy territory. I’ll be glad when fashion moves beyond dresses being short AND tight AND dipped too low. Nothing classy about that.

I would absolutely love Lucy hale’s look if she could have toned it down just a tiny bit- lengthen the hem, close the back… just one little alteration would have made it sexy without being trashy. I think she just barely crosses the hoochy line as is.
Also. Avril. I can’t even look at her anymore. Avril, you are not a teenager, and it shows! And ditto about her clothing line.
Shay Mitchell looks hot! I thought Lucy Hale’s dress was conservative enough in front to balance out the low back which was, as someone else pointed out, lined with mesh.
My favorite here would have to Cat Deeley in Matthew Williamson. She looks great! Shay Mitchell comes in a as a close second, although I might’ve picked her first had she chosen more interesting accessories! She still looks awesome though.
What Zooey’s dress needed, desperately, was a belt, the colour and the pattern and the fabric and everythign is workign against her, especially since the proximity of her waist ot her arm in that photo makes her waist appear much wider and less defined, so a belt would ahve helped immensely. So would have delicate (or more delicate) shoes, or just attractive shoes full stop. At least there are no tights.

Does anyone else think Avril’s shoes are a tad…disrespectful?
OMG Cat Deeley’s legs look like they’re about to snap. Besides that it seems as though she is always dressed appropriately for whatever event. She looks good here and it’s nothing too special but everyone else has missed the mark by a little (or a lot) so props to Cat for never EVER looking bad or kind of getting it wrong.
Ok it’s too late to say that but I’m so proud of Cengiz Abazoglu , that he made her way to the US. Lucy looked amazing in that dress, I couldn’t believe when I saw her wearing a turkish designer (I’m turkish too).
I hope we get to see more Cengiz Abazoglu creations on the red carpet , he has breathtaking designs.
