Zooey Deschanel was all smiles as she arrived at the FOX All-Star Party which was held at the Gladstones in Pacific Palisades, California on Friday.
The actress looked adorable wearing an Alice + Olivia one shoulder dress with a full skirt with black embroidered details.
This type of cute/quirky dress is very much in tune with Zooey’s style, so it was the perfect choice for her.
A simple ponytail and nude Christian Louboutin heels completed her look.
This is a rare occasion in which I will say that black heels would’ve been preferred.
The nude heels are very out of place with this look.

What possessed her to go with a neutral shoe for a dress with such high contrast? Black, white, silver, red, all would have been better choices for a shoe color than nude (although to be fair, the lighting is not working in her favor. In this shot her legs look much darker in tone than the rest of her skin, which could be making matters worse.)
I think this is the first time I’ve seen her without dark tights.
I think admitting her need for tights helped her loosen up a little about it. I’m so glad she’s coming out of her tight-shell!
