Taryn Manning is also trending dip dyed strands in her hair which she styled into a side sweeping plait on the red carpet at “The Perfect Age Of Rock ‘N ‘Roll” LA screening last night.
The indie actress wore a Joy Cioci Fall 2011 rise and fall dress.
She added a playful pop of colour to her azure blue dress with a Kelly Locke oversized ‘Milly’ clutch.
Whilst I like the colour combination – which matches her Brian Atwood pumps – I would’ve preferred the clutch to be a tad smaller as it’s close to overwhelming her dress.
I really like the belt worn by the model, but Taryn shows that the dress works just as well without it.

i like the dress a lot but i feel the proportions are off with Taryn. It makes her look short.
I hope it’s the angle of the photo or something, because as pictures it looks like a hot, droppy mess. Definitely shortens her and while I love the clutch by itself, a gold sandal and (as you suggest) a different clutch might have severly helped.

I definitely like how this looks on the model. The dress overwhelms her. She should have gotten this dress tailored to fit her frame if she was going to wear it. This looks great with the belt.
And one more thing I hate her hair.
i think it’s her pose. and the fact that taryn is short!
on the model u can see her standing very still to emphasize her long legs against the fabric, while taryn’s dress is long and her legs are all over the place.

It’s overwhelming her, she’s so petite that she’s gotta be careful with flowy dresses like these.
Not a fan of this type of two level skirt–on anyone.
The photo of Taryn looks almost as if it was taken with one of those zoom lenses, because her head appears to be about twice the size of her body. This is not her best look.
