Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: July 2011

Camilla Belle swapped football for fashion as she attended the Miu Miu Presents Lucrecia Martel’s “Muta” event, which was held at a private residence in Beverly Hills, California last night.

The actress gave us our first Miu Miu Fall 2011 re-run of the season, as Anna Dello Russo has already worn this Miu Miu embroidered dress to Menswear Spring 2012 Fashion Week last month.

I’m guessing our message of more interesting footwear has finally sunk in, as Camilla opted to wear a stunning pair of silver Miu Miu glitter pumps.

Camilla wore her hair back in a simple bun plus she added a Miu Miu pink clutch, Cartier jewels and pretty pink lips to complement her dress.

Do you find this look marvelous or matronly?

Zoe Saldana attended the “Captain America: The First Avenger” LA Premiere which was held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California last night.

She looked amazing showing off her toned legs in a Balmain Resort 2012 ensemble.

The printed bomber jacket gold epaulets was teamed with matching shorts and a simple v-neck white tee.

Her sexy chic laidback look was teamed with some amazing shoes.

Whoever picked out these Brian Atwood ‘Pois’ pumps deserves a bonus.

The ‘Maniac’ pumps have ruled the red carpet for far too long, I’m glad celebs are now exploring other options within the designers’ extensive range.

These shoes deserve their own spot on the BDOTW poll.

Zoe wore her hair back into a simple updo with a few curly pieces framing her gorgeous face.

My only gripe about this look is that her tee isn’t tucked in at the back.

Diane Kruger was one of the many actresses who attended the Miu Miu Presents Lucrecia Martel’s “Muta” event, which was held at a private residence in Beverly Hills, California last night.

She was of course wearing a gorgeous Miu Miu crepe dress from the Fall 2011 collection like many of the attendees.

Her black ress with a keyhole back and embellished details on the sleeves also had a bow accent on the waist.

Diane added Miu Miu accessories including an oversized suede clutch and black strappy Jimmy Choo ‘Louisa’ sandals.

I love that Diane really got into the spirit of this 1940s collection by pinning back her loose, naturally textured hair back with goody hair combs.

Diane oozes forties elegance in a modern way.

As usually she’s flawless.

Emma Stone hit another home-run on the red carpet at the “Crazy, Stupid, Love” World Premiere, which was held at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City last night.

She looked stunning wearing a Tom Ford Fall 2011 dress, which gives us our first look at this collection on the red carpet.

The black guipure lace dress with a velvet ribbon was thankfully modified as Emma’s version doesn’t have the long sheer lace sleeves.

Emma’s glossy hair was swept behind one ear and elegantly flip on the other side to create a sex screen-siren retro hairstyle.

Beautiful deep pink lips, dazzling drop earrings and Christian Louboutin Metallip pumps completed her look.

She’s on a roll. Stand back and let it continue.

At the 2011 Brit Awards earlier this year, Rihanna wowed the audience when she wore this stunning Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 creation.

The beautiful singer dazzled in the strapless ivory silk gazar gown embroidered with red carnations, which complemented her fiery red hair perfectly.

Since the gown is such a standout piece, Rihanna chose not to overwhelm it with any accessories.

J.K. Rowling wore a green and rose pink version of the gown (which doesn’t have the same cinched in waist) to the World Premiere of “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ in London recently.

The author played up the elegance of the dress by accessorizing with some pretty pink pieces including floral Bulgari earrings, a textured clutch and a matching pink diamond cocktail ring.

She opted to wear her hair in a chic up-do and also wear matching baby pink nail polish.

It’s hard to pick a winner for this one since both women styled the dress so differently, but my vote is going to Rihanna.

She looks amazing when she wears anything red and brings out the boldness of her hair colour even more and I much prefer the colour combination of her dress to the one worn by J.K. Rowling.

Mila Kunis made an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly on Monday in New York City yesterday.

The actress was on the show to promote her new movie, “Friends with Benefits” before the premiere.

She opted to wear an L’Agence floral print mini dress with a delightful pop of colour via her ocean blue Brian Atwood ‘Orlando’ ankle strap peep-toes.

Mila is very much a part of ‘Maniac’ brigade, so it’s refreshing to see her wearing another shoe from the designer range.
