Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: July 2011

The gorgeous Emmanuelle Chriqui attended the Season 8 Premiere of “Entourage” at the Beacon Theatre in New York City last night.

She opted to wear a sexy Julien Macdonald dress.

The red orange gown with a beaded black collar was paired with Stuart Weitzman ‘Fever’ pump which are covered in black crystals.

She gets a 7 for the dress, but nil points for the shoes.

A dress with a central split almost demands a strappy sandal. I’m truly baffled by the decision to wear pointy pumps.

This could’ve been a contender.

A sweeping updo, a black clutch plus Lorraine Schwartz and OFIRA jewelry completed her look.

Hailee Steinfeld would’ve been the guest of honor at the Miu Miu Presents Lucrecia Martel’s “Muta” event in LA last night, as she’s currently face of the Miu Miu Fall 2011 ad campaign.

The 14 year old actress looked absolutely adorable wearing a Miu Miu pale pink sheath dress with beaded Peter Pan collar.

She accessorized with a matching satin Prada clutch and nude Miu Miu patent peep-toes.

A half up-half down hair style completed her look.

I wish to see more of this and less of the aging looks.

It looks like Jennifer Aniston just missed the torrential rain we are having here in London.

The actress hit the red carpet tonight at The BFI Southbank for the “Horrible Bosses” London Premiere.

She dazzled wearing a Valentino Fall 2011 Couture embellished halter cocktail dress, which gives us our first look at this recently presented collection on the red carpet.

I love the fish-scale like detail on the skirt.

I’m not a fan of white shoes as you know, but looking at the close-up the ankle strap heels appear to be ballet pink.

Nevertheless I find them jarring, so I’m loving this look from the ankles up.

Update: Thanks to Shoerazzi we have an ID on the shoes. Tom Ford.

Like Ashley Tisdale, Cat Deeley didn’t wear Miu Miu to the Miu Miu Presents Lucrecia Martel’s “Muta” event in LA last night.

The TV host wore a gorgeous mini dress by British designer Jenny Packham.

Her espresso crystal encrusted mini dress was teamed with chocolate brown Zara T-bar sandals and an alligator clutch.

“So You Think You Can Dance” fans will instantly recognise this dress, because Cat wore the same dress on the show back in June.

Cat’s beauty regime was as effortless as ever. Blonde tumbling natural waves and pink glossy lips completed her look.

Katie Cassidy took time out to answer a few style questions at the Rebecca Minkoff Summer Cocktails Event held at Confederacy in LA last night.

The actress looked gorgeous dressed in a super sexy bright orange Hervé Leger dress.

She accessorized her dress with a snakeskin Rebecca Minkoff clutch and matching snakeskin Jimmy Choo heels.

Her Cartier Love bracelet and cute wishbone earrings were picked up whilst on vacation in Hawaii.

Katie shared that she had previously worn Rebecca Minkoff on a shoot for LA Confidential magazine and instantly fell in love with the label.

Her favourite designers are Jason Wu, Marchesa, Prada and Versace.

Although she was rocking one of the biggest trends of the night (bright colours), Katie revealed that she actually prefers mixing and matching patterns and prints, rather than wearing just one bold colour.

I couldn’t help but ask whether her time on ‘Gossip Girl’ had influenced her style in anyway. She told me that she’d always had an eye for fashion, and thanks to the show she now knows a lot more about designers.

Katie will soon be back in New York to film one of her upcoming projects called ‘Bumped’ which will also star Kellan Lutz and Camilla Belle.

We look forward to seeing how Katie’s style evolves in the future, as she’s definitely one to watch.

Katie also attended the Miu Miu Presents Lucrecia Martel’s “Muta” event last night.

Vanessa Hudgens showcased a shorter hair do at the “Captain America: The First Avenger” LA Premiere last night.

It’s a big deal when a star known for her glossy locks goes for the snip, and I must say I find her new look very refreshing even if its only temporary for her new movie.

She opted to wear a mustard Farah Khan embellished tunic dress with gold embellished details.

Her dress was upstaged by a matching pair of Giuseppe Zanotti wedges, but let down by an oversized clutch.
