Olivia Palermo is a real film buff, because she never misses a New York Premiere.

She attended “The Smurfs” World Premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater last night wearing an effortless summer ensemble.

The look included a beige sheer off-the-shoulder nude blouse with tie detailed sleeves with an ivory Elizabeth and James maxi flared skirt.

Her accessories were toned down once again, because on this occasion she only added a white thin belt and a tan clutch.

Maxi skirts are becoming a signature red carpet look for Olivia, but I wish she had opted for a shorter skirt on this occasion because she was wearing Stuart Weitzman sandals which she co-designed.

The navy satin ankle-wrap sandals embedded with fuchsia feathers is part of the “Stuart Weitzman Young Hollywood Cares Collection.”

All proceeds will benefit Dr. Marsha Moses’ pioneering research in ovarian cancer at the Folkman Institute in Boston, MA.

The “Stuart Weitzman Young Hollywood Cares” collection will also feature other co-designs by Hollywood’s young trend-setters which we will no doubt see on the red carpet soon.

Jenna Ushkowitz represented the cast of “Glee” at Comic-Con 2011 on Sunday, as she attended the “Glee” Press Line at the San Diego Convention Center in California with co-star Harry Shum Jr.

She wore a Twenty8Twelve ensemble.

Her look was a mix of seasons which included a Twenty8Twelve Fall 2011 blouse which she paired with the Resort 2012 tulip shaped skirt.

I adore the look, especially when paired with those Rene Caovilla blue suede peep-toes with a silver glitter platform, and despite the fact that the skirt feels more Fall than Resort.

The look is very event appropriate. I can imagine that if Lea Michele had been in attendance she would’ve been overdressed.

Ombre hair continues to be hot celebrity style and I’ll admit that it has started to grow on me.

Katy Perry and Jayma Mays opted for super short minis at the “The Smurfs” World Premiere, but Sofia Vergara went in the opposite direction.

The curvaceous star wore a purple Missoni Resort 2012 full-length dress.

Her embroidered column dress didn’t showcase her famous assets, yet she still looks beautiful proving that she can find a happy medium and is willing to mix things up on the red carpet.

Whenever I see turquoise earrings I always think of Cameron Diaz (in the good old days) when she attended the 2007 Costume Institute Gala.

Purple and turquoise is a beautiful combination.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed her look.

Calista Flockhart joined husband Harrison Ford and a host of other stars on the red carpet for the “Cowboys & Aliens” World Premiere during Comic-Con 2011 on Saturday in San Diego, California.

She looked very youthful wearing an Emporio Armani strapless dress.

The white and navy strapless cocktail dress was paired with some black sandals which wouldn’t have been my first choice.

Calista is usually sticks to wearing vintage dresses on the red carpet, so it’s really interesting that she opted for something cute and modern.

Minka Kelly was at Comic-Con 2011 on Saturday in San Diego, California to attend the “Charlie’s Angels” Panel.

As someone who is obsessed with ethnic prints, I adore her Etro belted silk print dress.

The cut of the dress is both elegant and figure enhancing, plus the colours are very complementary to her olive skin-tone.

Brian Atwood is definitely the number one designer at Comic Con this weekend, as Minka also wore a pair of his ‘Maniac’ pumps in a gorgeous caramel colour.

C. Greene Etoile hoops completed her look.
