Rachel Weisz made her first appearance on the red carpet as Mrs Craig last night.
She attended ‘The Whistleblower’ New York screening which was held at Tribeca Grand Hotel wearing a Valentino Resort 2012 dress.
The red mini dress with bow details on the shoulders was an exquisite choice.
The radiant newlywed paired her dress with nude pumps and a Judith Leiber ‘Wave Pattern’ beaded crystal minaudiere.
Her welcome return to the red carpet was complete with luxurious waves, sliver jewels and sweet pink lips.
My only wish is that she smoothed out her dress before this picture was taken.

She looks pretty but I much prefer the runway bows- off- the shoulders way. On Rachel they sort of look like failed cap sleeves.

Gorgeous in every way–I can even overlook the nude pumps (ouch). Gorgeous earrings, too.

I love her earrings; they are so beautiful.
I don’t think that the dress does her amazing figure justice, nor do the bows look good.. Plus not really liking the shoes.
Neck-up she’s stunning though and that’s what bothers me the most – with just a few simple changes this could have been in the running for BdotW.

I love the bottom picture – there’s so much depth in her facial expression, in her eyes and mouth. Saw the Whistleblower several months ago, and I thought it was a good, if depressing, film….
I don’t think the dress would be any smoother than that. even in the picture it looks wrinkle…I think she looks great.
This look is all quite underwhelming. I agree with the posters that said the sleeve details aren’t translating here. And the shoes are boring and I am tired of seeing them on everyone.
Rachel is gorgeous though so it’d be hard for her to look ‘bad’ and I agree that those earrings are beautiful.
Beautiful. She’s a lovely woman and what works best on her are simple, but glamorous looks and she knows that.
