Hitting the red carpet for the second time this week, Olivia Palermo attended the DKNY Sun Soiree which was held at The Beach at Dream Downtown in New York City last night.
The socialite wore a DKNY Fall 2011 dress.
Her colour-block pleated dress was paired with her co-designed “Stuart Weitzman navy satin ankle-wrap sandals from the “Young Hollywood Cares Collection,” which are embedded with fuchsia feathers.
Many of you complained that you could see her panties through the sheerness of her last look, but on this occasion she opted to wear a nude lining under her skirt.
A satin fuchsia clutch was added to complement her shoes and a statement necklace provided the signature ‘Olivia’ finishing touch.

This is a beautiful outfit , but I think I would have loved it more if she had worn her hair in a ponytail.
Not really enamored with this outfit, but there’s nothing really wrong with it – unlike that last one she had on! LOL. Maybe it’s time for Olivia to have a new hairstyle, this center part business that both she and SJP are wearing is kind of boring.
This is more like it, so much better than her previous look!
I genuinely despise the color-blocking – one of the worst trends, in my opinion. I wish it would go away asap.
Actually I adore the colour block trend! I really love this look and I think it could be BDOTW worthy!
Me too! BDOTW, please…
I actually really love the colour blocking trend and I think Olivia looks amazing. I want to see the shoes up close though!
I really like this outfit. I think it is well put together.
I’m in the minority but I liked the previous look much better.
This one doesn’t inspire me and that necklace is sooooooooooo unnecessary.
I think she wears this well, but I wish she had left her “signature finishing touch” (necklace) off. Usually I like her excess accessories, she somehow keeps it all in balance, but this time it doesn’t work for me.
Is she the new Camilla Belle?
I love Olivia’s styling most of the time, but on this occasion, I wish she would’ve laid low on the jewelry. Also, her clutch doesn’t really go with the gorgeous DKNY dress. She’s wearing those amazing Stuart Weitzman sandals with a long skirt again? Come on Olivia, I want to see them!
I attended the event and she looked even lovelier in person I must confess. For me “colour blocking” is not a trend it’s a way of life. In the Caribbean and Africa the ladies colour block without even knowing it’s a trend.
Really really lovely
gorrggeeoouuss. i like this on her a LOT. i didnt used to be a fan of Olivia’s but she has really grown on me
