Selita Ebanks In Christian Cota – 2011 Children Of The City Benefit

Selita Ebanks attended the 2011 Children Of The City Benefit which took place in New York City last night.

Whilst I love this Christian Cota Fall 2011 look, I have very mixed feelings about Selita’s presentation.

The leopard metallic lace drape neck top paired with a painted layered pencil skirt was worn sans bra on the runway.

It would have been a huge mistake for Selita not wear a bra with this dress, especially considering she was attending a children’s benefit, but I hate the exposed bra.

A skin-tone lining would’ve been preferred as the bra is making the look come off a tad tacky, which is a shame considering the workmanship of this gorgeous look.

I agree with you FC. The exposed bra looks awful.

Yeah this look shouldn’t have been worn to a children’s benefit… with or without the bra. Should’ve selected something more appropriate.

It’s like you read my mind! I love this look, but the bra just ruins the whole thing. It also seems a tad longer than the runway version which is throwing off the proportions a bit for me.

Simply Ridiculous! Did she even look at herself in a mirror…how come the panties aren’t showing – absolutely inappropriate for the event!

Not that I like an exposed bra ever, but a children’s charity event is not the place for your bra to be seen.period.

Completely agree, if she had lined the top this would have been a fantastic look.

i think the bra makes it much worse and even more revealing. I can’t explain it. If she wore a nude top under, no one would have known. Now everyone knows she was covering her nipples and that’s inappropriate a=for a children’s benefit.

It is a little racy for a children’s charity event. More fitting for an awards show like MTV, Grammy’s…

I agree that she should’ve worn a bra more resembling her skin tone. Other than that, I’m in love with this look! She should’ve worn a whole different outfit to this event though, as the exposed bra is way too inappropriate for a children’s benefit.

Her hair bothers me the most, for some reason. I just wish it were pulled back into a high pony or a chignon or something.

Why do celebs think we want to see their underwear?

I’m sure she could have asked the designer to adapt this dress for the event, perhaps extending the high waist up into a bustier.
