I don’t really feature menswear, but this is the second time I’m featuring Ryan Gosling on my blog this year.
The man knows how to wear a suit, and not just any run-of-the-mill suit, but a suit which stands out on the red carpet head and shoulders above the simple black suits we so often see.
He wore a look from the Gucci Spring 2012 collection to the “Crazy, Stupid, Love” World Premiere in New York City last night.
The black and white Burlington check jacket was paired with matching pants with satin piping.
A cool crisp white dress shirt and black silk tie completed his look.
I would be lying if I said I hadn’t been drooling over this picture all day.
Gosling clearly loves Gucci, because just last week he was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City wearing a Gucci Resort 2012 suit.
The 1960′s jacket of cognac wool mohair was paired with matching skinny pants.
A white unbuttoned dress shirt with a slouchy black and dark brown striped tie plus those too cool for school shades completed his look.

It takes a confident man to pull of a Gucci suit. He also loves Ferragamo. I don’t think there’s any male celebrity to rival him for red carpet style. We have Queen Cate, and we have King Ryan.

The first time I featured him he was wearing Ferragamo during Cannes.

I don’t find him particularly attractive and even less so with the facial hair (hey, to each his/her own) but I do like the second look in front of the Sullivan Theatre. It’s nice to see this kind of stylishness from a man on the red carpet.
I think in this instance the heading could be Gucci loves Gosling, no? He looks like a modern matinee idol.

I adore the Resort look. Or better yet, I love the Resort pictures since I think the Spring look is better, but the Resort just resonates better with me.
