Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter Host A Party For Dolce & Gabbana

In London last night and Mr hosted a party to celebrate Dolce & Gabbana joining the forever expanding list of brands on their virtual shelves.

Celebs donned in their finest Dolce & Gabbana treads to join in the celebrations at Net-A-Porter HQ.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel and long-term friend of Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana wore an animal print chiffon halter dress with black Alaia cut-out suede sandals.

Alexandra Burke: The British singer opted to wear a dark pink Dolce & Gabbana strapless lace bustier which she teamed with black lace Dolce & Gabbana peep-toes and a gold clutch. The clutch is really not working for me. Like really really not working for me.

Jamie Winstone: As you know I have a soft spot for Jamie. The British actress is never boring on the red carpet. She opted to wear a colourful Dolce & Gabbana floral print satin dress which she paired with Michael van der Ham blue devore wedges, which were worn over black socks. I was going to say that her shoe choice is shocking, but everyone else opted for black heels so I should be grateful she did something different.

Queen Latifah: The Queen was suited up in Dolce & Gabbana; opting for dazzling statement necklace to pull the look together.

Solange Knowles: Beyonce’s sister also opted for a slightly more masculine look. She paired Dolce & Gabbana star print leggings with a white shirt and a black blazer.

Keisha Buchanan: The former Sugababes singer wore a sleeveless Dolce & Gabbana leopard print dress with some very uninspiring pumps.

Pixie Geldof: The TV host gives us more animal print with her Dolce & Gabbana dress. The dress is gorgeous, but she gets nil points for overall presentation.

Peaches Geldof: Sister Peaches opted for a more glamorous look wearing a Dolce & Gabbana silver sequin strapless dress we’ve seen on everyone from Kylie Minogue to Rihanna.

Pixie Lott: The Essex singer wore a sweet white Dolce & Gabbana dress which she teamed with a Miss Sicily bag and booties. Usually I’m not a fan of pairing grungy boots with sweet dresses, but it really works for me on this occasion. Maybe because Pixie isn’t trying so hard unlike someone else I could mention. Naomi’s shoes have to go – they look AWFUL….Jamie’s dress is ok but no doubt look better on someone else with decent shoes…

How come no one wore a look from D&G Spring 2011? It’s still a Dolce and Gabbana brand and the looks were adorable!

Solange looks like a member of Cleopatra.

I was looking at the dolce and gabbana clothes on net a porter and I really liked them but these outfits just look so bad. These attendees make Dolce and gabbana look like high street.

I don’t like any of their outfits.

Careful FC, you’ve posted this under Keisha Whitaker’s tag. Keisha Whitaker would never look as trashy as Keisha Buchanan LOL!

If Alexandra had picked a different clutch, she’d be my favourite. Peaches narrowly beats her. But no, no-one looks particularly good here.

All the looks are kind of ‘meh’… The only one I quite liked – although it was quite simple, nothing special – was Solange’s

this looks more like an event for horrible footwear. each pair of shoes is uglier than the next.

pixie lott makes that go from dolce & gabbana to topshop. not even queen latifah looks good.

I always cringe slightly at British stars on red carpets or at events, they look so… River Islandy…

None of the attendees wore interesting pieces, all boring, too bad because there are so many things and looks from the brand that could’ve worked better
