Clemence Poesy In Chanel Couture – “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2” Paris Premiere

Clemence Poesy was the star attraction on the red carpet for the “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2” Paris Premiere last night.

The French actress who plays, ‘Fleur Delacour’ in the movie is often known for that effortless style French women are known to possess.

On this occasion she makes this Chanel Spring 2011 Couture dress look really scruffy.

Her “just-got-out-of-bed” hair doesn’t work with the elegance of the dress.

I’m also getting a bit tired of the “little girl lost look.”

Whilst I understand why so many people fawn over her, I don’t feel the same way.

The word ‘average’ springs to mind whenever I see her.

ahh complete agreement FC! that expression definitely irritates me too

  2. Katie July 14, 2011 at 15:17 #

I agree with everything you said FC, i don’t like her style or find anything chic about her at all, especially in comparison to some of the classy beauties in Paris

I think she looks gorgeous – the exact scruffy chic alexa chung goes for, but never achieves

I love the dress but she’s just ruining it.

  5. Karina July 13, 2011 at 23:49 #

i think she looks great. head to toe. maybe a little glamour in terms of makeup would have been better but overall, i like her and like this look.

    hummm, I don’t mind this at all….

I love her hair, and I love her outfit, bu tdefinitely not together. Yes hse has amazing hair, it is a beautiful coloru and falls in a very messy chic way, but not for this. Had her hair been in a bun, had she worn some mro emakeup, beautiful as her face is, and had she posed properly, I think it would have been a great moment. I ust think tht when she is onteh red carpet, mroe oftne than not, she just doesn’t look polished, but she alwasy looks amazing for smaller scale things. Also, while I like her outfit, there were many better looks from that Chanel collection.

I agree too. But just think how this dress would look on Diane KrĂĽger. I bet, it would no longer be a mess.

Thank the lord I’m not alone! I don’t understand for the life of me what is so special about this girl.

  14. Nat39 July 13, 2011 at 15:42 #

Dislike everything about this including the dress itself. Messy and unflattering.

  15. Mabel July 13, 2011 at 15:21 #

I totally agree with you FC!!

  16. Rebecca Z July 13, 2011 at 14:59 #

Her presentation of this great dress is an improvement on the model–over pants? puhleaze–but I agree that she is a bore.

Bravo FC! Everything about this girl is silly. It’s a beautiful dress, you’re an adult woman, pull yourself together.

Dakota Fanning at what 12 years old?? or something looks more poised than this adult.

  18. Julie July 13, 2011 at 13:35 #

This whole ensemble looks like a hot mess.
