Sarah Jessica Parker arrived at the “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2″ New York Premiere tonight which was held at the Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center.
The ‘Sex And The City’ actress attended with her family wearing an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2012 dress.
This is the first time we’ve seen a look on the red carpet from this collection.
Her navy and blossom watercolour satin chiffon gown was paired with a chic midnight blue Ferragamo blazer and an olive green Ferragamo bucket bag.
A tight bun and gorgeous aqua drop earring completed this “ready in 5 minutes” look, which is event appropriate for a major premiere without upstaging the lady of the night.
I absolutely adore this look.

She looks great. I love this dress!
Yup, SJP knocks it out of the park in an easy, chic way…..and OMG, the son, is he cute or what!!
A black blazer on the red carpet? No, just no.
Wow, she looks absolutely gorgeous. I love everything about this look.
Beautiful!
I wasn’t sure about the jacket, but when I the last picture with the family, I totally got it, haha.
LOL! The girl in the background of the first pic sprinting in the stilettos stole my attention. Photo-bomb done right
I like the gown and the hair but a few things here and there throw me off the look – the length (too long – it shortens her), the blazer ( with chiffon gown??), the aqua earrings (with navy??), the gold bag… The whole look is just not pulled together.
I am not a fan of this blazers over ball gowns trend.
Love it. BDOTW worthy.
That little boy is so cute!
She looks great–as you say, FC, casually chic. Except that the dress is just too long!
Is it me or does she look a little thick in the waist?
why the blazer? it kills the look!
I like it, too, except for the bag. I also like the make up. How cute is their son?
ummm.. I don’t like this look.. love the earrings
I so would love it had the jacket been shorter and more fitted, or better yet, non-existent. Everything else was perfection.
the blazer also made it feel like it’s just a night out at the movies as a mother….not as one of the highest paid actresses in hollywood.
I think this SJP was one of my favorites. I didn’t really like Emma’s so much because of her makeup :/
P.S. Who else notice the girl behind her running in heels? lol
i absolutely love SJP !
I like it – stylish and appropriate, and no cross-body bag in sight.
i love everything about this
just a mum taking her kid to a movie, looking gorgeous! this is the red carpet equivalent of early morning school runs!
I think she upstaged Emma Watson without even trying.
she can do better that that extra large blazer
I love it! Not even thrown off because the blazer, though i would have prefered another bag
so chic and casual. she looks beautiful, nice to see both her and matthew together.
I don’t like the blazer with the dress. That ruins this for me.
The color of the blazer ruined it for me. Maybe something lighter in color and cropped would have looked better with this dress. Especially this time of year – the black blazer seems more like Fall/Winter to my eye…..
The dress is too long, looks like a tripping hazard. SJP is known for her shoe collection and we can’t see what artform she’s sporting on her twinkle toes.
I hate how long the blazer is, it covers up so much of that gorge gown.
The blazer is definitely too big. Shame because it was a nice idea.
Lovely. I just wish there were pictures without the blazer
