Emma Watson will be the main attraction on the red carpet at the “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II” New York Premiere tonight.
She kick started her stateside promotional tour with a visit to the “Today” show this morning in New York City.
The British actress wore a baby blue Prada pleated shift dress.
I love the adorable white sequin Peter Pan collar and cuffs.
I immediately thought of Twiggy when I saw Emma in this 60s-style dress.
Brian Atwood ‘Alexa’ pumps completed her look.
Do you love this as much as I do?

How to Achieve the Classic Blowout

Going to have to respectfully disagree with you here, FC. Hate the dress, so shapeless and does nothing for Emma at all! Manages to both make her look like a little girl and age her at the same time. Not her finest hour.
I really don’t like the dress, sorry :/
She looks very cute–great dress and fabulous shoes!
What a DOLL she is. And so intelligent. If only Kate could take a few dressing lessons from her. Love the “Twiggy” dress and look!
Cute! She looks like a doll in this and I really like the charcoals in the video clip
While the style isn’t to my personal taste, she more than does this look justice. She’s lovely, and I cannot wait to see what she wears to the NY premiere!
This girl is a dream, well… my dream.
Agree with Karis-looks both too young and too old for her at the same time. Shoes are a strange choice, too, like the stylist saw that the dress wasn’t right and tried to fix the look with some sexy shoes. A big miss. This is one of Emma’s few bad looks in my book.
the dress gets a big yes from me but the hair is just entering spock territory!
I could never pull of this style, and honestly I don’t like the dress. But somehow Emma in this dress completely wins me over. She is adorable.
LOVE THIS DRESS. She looks so mod and cute and fresh.
I love this dress and sadly the sequinned detail gets lost in pictures. I guess cause I have seen the dress in real life I can say that I love it
I think she looks good. Adding a belt to this look would have made it look awkward, in my opinion. This kind of reminds me of her Carven dress from the last promo tour.
Can’t wait for NY Premiere tonight. I have a couple dream choices for her, as I am sure you do FC : )
Love it on her. She’s adorable. I also love how much time she spends signing autographs for her fans – both on this show and during the London premier.
I like it, it gives a 60′s retro vibe, although, save for a few extra inches in the length of the skirt she looks exactly like Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s baby… not sure that’s flattering…. *sigh* I’ll forgive her if there are no more CK dresses this NY promo tour
I actually really like the dress, and love the Twiggy vibe, but the shoes just look too big to me – surely the point of peep toes is that your toes, well, *peep* ?
She’s cute and so is this dress. They go well together. The shoes are bonus, really.
I think the dress is cute on her, not sure if I like the shoes with it.
The dress is REALLY shapeless. If it hadnt flared out towards the end I would have liked it but I just dont
not a biggest fan of the dress but those shoes sure are sweet!
lovely <3. How tall is Emma?
I love the dress, but I don’t think it works off the page.
It looks like a maternity dress.
Her shoes are amazing though!!
@ullis: I think she’s about 5’5″
love it.
I think she looks cute. Mostly though, I am wondering how many solid color day dresses these show hosts must own?!
She looks cute overall, I don’t like the dress much, love the shoes but she carries it off very well. Love the bright colors of the 3 dresses worn by the presenters
I am glad that sh efinally did the sixties thing, given her hair, but am equally glad she waited this long, becuase pretty much any sooner and it frankly would have been gimmicky. However, I am not crazy about this dress on her, I dislike the fabric and would have preffered something maybe wihtout sleeves. Also, I detest white shoes, adn these are unacceptable given the existence of the miumiu glitter t-strap sadals, adn the suede maryjane peeptoes by them, and the patent almost plat pumps by miumiu with the jewelled heel, as well as the giuseppe zanotti crystal sandals with the chunky heels and the ankle strap.
lol, me too – look at all those tailored jewel toned dresses – it’s like a uniform.
yuck!
she should have visited Tara Jarmon!
they would have dressed her better!
It look like a 60′s maternity dress.
i love this outfit! perfectly appropriate and cute
LOVELOVELOVE. so chic and so refreshing that not everything you wear has to be form fitting. so different.
