Prada Overload Award
Dana Delany attended the BAFTA Brits To Watch Event which was held at the Belasco Theatre in LA yesterday evening.
I’m sure she doesn’t mean to, but the former “Desperate Housewives” actress always provides us with red carpet comical moments and this is no exception.
Regular readers will know that Dana is a huge Prada fan and that she buys the looks herself as she doesn’t have a stylist.
This is clearly evident as I don’t believe that any stylist would recommend that their client match a baroque print Spring 2011 Prada dress with a Prada orange and black striped fur stole and a striped Prada clutch.
We get it Dana, you love Prada, but on this occasion the feeling doesn’t appear to be mutual.

That stole is a fashion disaster. I don’t think it would go with anything… except a Halloween costume. And I am officially sick and tired of that dress. We’ve seen it all over the red carpet and on celebrities… and it wasn’t a great dress to begin with.
First of all I hate real furs, but how can someone carry a fur in LA in July? It’s hard to comment such a bad look, because except for the fur, every piece is quite good, but together make a real mess.
This would have been great had she got rid of that shrug. Despite being a third re-run of this dress, she would have beaten them both had she lost the shrug
i shall hide in the corner, but i actually love it well the dress and shoes, perhaps not stole but the rest of the look is lovely.

I see. She killed Tigger and is presenting him as a guest for the Royals. Though it is thoughtful, I think a figurine or music box would have been more appreciated.
Oh I actually love this look! It is so foten that we see super fashiony looks ont eh red carpet, so I am uber impressed. It is liek that Rita Wilson prada ss 2010 look, at the emmys, was it? Anyways, I think that it shows that she has a great body, adn she looks beautiful. I could have lived with the runway version, and without the stole, but I like that she is really goign for it, and as opposed to embarassing or hilarious, I find this joyous and enjoyable.
we haven’t seen much of that re-vamped sequin-y prada collection that debuted in hong kong (?) so in a way, i’m happy she wore it on the carpet, but the accessories simply kill this look as you’ve stated. the purse is a mistake, but the stole is unforgivable.
