Leslie Bibb In Prabal Gurung – “Zookeeper” LA Premiere

Leslie Bibb joined Rosario Dawson on the red carpet for the LA Premiere of their new movie, “Zookeeper” on Wednesday night.

The blonde actress wore a Prabal Gurung leather-appliqué tulle and silk dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

I loved the dress on the runway, but I’m not crazy about Leslie’s decision to shorten the skirt.

The end result isn’t as tailored as the original, plus the fit is a tad snug around the hips.

A sexy dress deserves a sexy shoe.

Unfortunately Leslie doesn’t agree.

It’s not a bad a result on Leslie’s part, its a bad result and choice on her stylist’s part. According to websites, she works with Jessica Paster who is a top stylist and should have known better than to hem the skirt that way, convince her client into that shoe, remove pockets, etc.

Am I wrong to say that for someone is getting paid so much money to make their client look flawless and convince them THIS is the right decision, to accuse THEM of them mistake and not just the celebrity as seen or talked about often??

Oh wow, I love the shoes on the runway.
    Why don’t celebs wear those?
What’s it with them and ugly pumps?

Why indeed. I wish the would be more inspired by runway heels

Whoever did the hem on her skirt needs to be slapped. It was a bad idea to shorten it but no need to do it in such a lazy way lol.

I thought the dress was perfectly styled on the runway and I wish it was kept that way…

FC, this look actually angers me.. lol.She completely ruined this. The hemline looks like it was done in her hotel room right before she hit the carpet! Just bad business! and don’t even get me started on those shoes!

    This is a miss.

The length of the skirt is awkward—she should have tailored it above the knee.

It’s a great dress but she looks bad in it. Her head looks like a boring beige blob all blending together, better hair and makeup is a must.

And the shoes made me curse out loud. What a shame.

I am not crazy for this look, but she totally wrecked the dress by having the pockets taken out. Way too tight and that hem job is a “ladies room with a roll of tape” special.

      You are so right!

I like the runway version, too. It’s lovely! I had some pencil skirts that were tight like hers and decided to send them to Goodwill. Didn’t like how they creased at the hip line.

This designer makes some very interesting garments. He had some great stuff at J Crew!
