Despite being in Paris, Dita von Teese didn’t attend any shows during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
She did attend Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall 2011 Closing Party hosted by Chambre Syndicale de la Couture at Trianon Palace last night.
The Burlesque star wore an exquisite Alexis Mabille Fall 2010 gown.
Her sleeves gown with gold baroque print and pink floral details was made for someone as elegant and regal as Dita.
She wears this timeless gown far better than the model.
Gossip Girl fans will instantly recognise this dress as Leighton Meester wore it on the last episode of GG last season.

Omg, this.looks.amazing. on her!!
Yes! BDOTW, please. This is one of the most beautiful gowns I’ve ever seen.
You’re right, FC — exquisite! I’d love to see details of this incredible dress.
Perfection! BDOTW!
agreed!! Amazing!!
Love Dita, she rarely misses. This gown is so beautiful. I bet even more so in real life. Ahh, perfection!
I’m with you! I love her retro styling. Classy! InStyle (or Vogue? or was it Glamour??) did an article on her a few months ago and not only is her wardrobe great – her house is too!
I want to read it! Which edition, do you remenber? I’m gonna try to find it…
I think it was Instyle Mag, February 2011. Great article, I cut some photos out from it just for inspiration.
More beautiful on Leighton.
Exactly. My thoughts totally went to Leighton when I saw the dress.
It looked magnificent on her.
Dita doesn’t do it as much justice.
I think the model and Blair wear it better than Dita! With a pretty dress that has a lot going on like this, simpler make-up and hair style work better, imo.
I didn’t see Leighton… in my country GG is not aired anymore. But I agree, I think her hair and make up are too much for this dress, which is quite elaborate, different fabrics, decorations…
Dita looks good because it’s such a beautiful dress to begin with. But I don’t like her signature make-up/hair with it.
Leighton rocked it much better imo.
I prefer in Blair.
I’m so glad to see this dress again though I to find that Blair wore it better.I just loved it it’s amazing and one of Blair best outfits.I want this dress!!!
when I saw the picture I immediately thought of Leighton Meester in the last episode of GG’s season…I have to admitt that I prefer this gown on Leighton…you should do a poll to choose who wore it better
Dita looks really great in the dress but I actually prefer it on Blair.
so pretty
Dita looks gorgeous but I have to agree with who said they like this better on Leighton.
fabulous….I expect nothing less of Dita. BDOTY contender!
she is perfection! so glamorous it hurts.
The best of the week & one of the best this year! Fabulous!
Leighton looked absolutely breathtaking when she wore this dress. Not liking it on Dita at all.
Dita wears clothes even better than Diane Kruger and that says something. I’m *thisclose* to hating this woman. Out of pure and utter jealousy.
What a gorgeous dress and is it made for Dita, who wears it so well. It really suits her style…
I prefered it on Leighton. I felt it was such a good choice, because it wasn’t expected of her, but was jsut so perfect. I also lvoed the detailign on it and the closeups we got of that. Ultimately, I adore Dita, but this dress has so many different things on it, so many different details, that I think Blair’s softer look just suited it better.
I prefer this gown on the model. Dita’s hair and makeup make it /any gown look too costumey.
dita rocks this dress.
leighton/blair always looks like a little girl playing dress up.
I really don’t know who wore it better. it’s such a lovely dress.
