This morning I attended the Armani Privé Fall 2011 presentation in Paris.
It was first my opportunity to see Cate Blanchett up close, and she more than lived up to expectations.
Some celebrities can fail to live up to their status in real life, but the Queen was just as regal, poised, charming and totally captivating in real life.
The paparazzi went crazy as the Australian actress glided into the Théâtre National de Chaillot wearing an Armani Privé Spring 2011 red skirt suit with red organza cuffs.
Her look was slightly modified, as her version didn’t have the peplum detail we saw on the runway.
Cate’s look was accessorized with matching Armani Privé accessorize and fire stone earrings.

She looks gorgeous but I really wish it hadn’t been modified!
I thought that initially but then she’d be sitting down for most of the event and the peplum detail might be quite crushed by the time she was leaving.
I love the shoes, I’m instantly attracted to all red shoes…

I always look forward to the shows because I know Cate Blanchett always goes to Armani. Her red carpet appearance, although relatively rare, are always a sight ot behold, nd even though this is couture week, i still beleive she will be one of th ebest dresses this week. Fingers crossed she goes to givenchy and hopefully more shows.

She looks ravishing here. I too have had the wonderful experience of seeing Cate Blanchett in the flesh once before as well – at the Sydney premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button back in December 2008 – and I can say she is even more stunning and lumiscent and elegant than she appears in photos. I never thought it was possible, but indeed it is. As infrequent as they are, we are so lucky to have her captivating red carpet appearances. BODTW!

Perfection as always. She can look unique but regal and classy all at the same time. And I LOVE this look. I think what really makes it is those red satin cuffs. Lovely.
I now this has nothing to do with fashion,but I have to say that Cate Blanchett can ACT, in very way, shape and form. She was born to wear Armani. So elegant. She reminds me of Princess Charlene. Maybe it is the blonde hair, slender body, grace etc

I prefer the runway version, far better, her skirt is anonymous… She looks fifty in the photo with G. Armani, maybe she stops to get botox.

The problem with a look like this is that the details need to be prefect – because in a uniform look such as this, they WILL stand out.
And sadly, the way the top ends looks sloppy.
Such a shame, because otherwise it’s a superb look.
i truly like her,she has a great poise and beauty,and even thought i am not a fan of this outfit she carries it well,coloure is great and so are the shoes.i am glad for you FC for seeing her in person.
