On Friday Charlene Wittstock became Princess Charlene of Monaco when she wed Prince Albert II of Monaco in a Civil Wedding Service.
She opted for a none too formal look donning a custom Karl Lagerfeld powder-blue corseted chiffon strapless jumpsuit with pleated palazzo pants.
A matching powder blue jacket with one button undone was decorated with Chantilly lace trims on the sleeves.
The Princess opted for both subtle jewels and make-up on her first day as Princess of Monaco.
Later that evening Princess Charlene of Monaco and Prince Albert II of Monaco appeared onstage during the Jean Michel Jarre concert celebrating the Royal Wedding at the Throne Room of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco.
The Princess didn’t wear her jacket on this occasion; instead she added a stunning gold Tabbah choker with pearl accents.
It’s amazing how the removal of one piece and the addition of another can totally transform a look.

the look is beautiful with the jacket, but that necklace looks like some cheap tat from a market stall.
The necklace looks a bit tacky… I would have liked a wardrobe change for the evening.. but I cant deny that I love the dress..

I like the second outfit, without the jacket, the necklace is beautiful. I saw the religious wedding on tv yesterday, her Giorgio Armani dress was really beautiful. But my favorite was Clotilde Courau, chic and modern at the same time.
She was stunning in both looks.

It’s a shame that there are some harsh critisms on such a wedding, jealousy never surprises me.
Bottom line, Charlene was stunning, the necklace was to die for and let’s just wish them all the happiness.
