Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: June 2011

Back in November, Eva Mendes was in Madrid to promote her movie “The Other Guys.” She did so wearing an eye-catching Prada number from the label’s brightly-coloured Spring 2011 collection.

The eclectic strapless dress features green and black stripes, bold baroque prints in lime green and orange and a ruffled hem.

Eva accessorized with only a pair of black Prada peep-toe shoes, letting the bright prints of the dress make the biggest statement.

She wore her hair down and kept her makeup fresh and glowing.

Elle MacPherson wore the same dress last week whilst attend a screening to launch party for “Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model” at the Soho Hotel in London.

The supermodel added a row of gold bracelets to her look, including a gorgeous snake bangle and a pair of sheer, peep-toe ankle booties.

Elle opted to style her hair in loose waves and added smoky eyeshadow and light pink lipstick to her look.

Both women look absolutely stunning in this dress, but their shoe choices leave a lot to be desired for.

Eva’s are uninspiring whilst Elle’s feel too dressy for this type of look.

Overall though, I think Eva looks the best as the dress hugs her curves in all the right places so she wins for me.

Wow.

I’m almost rendered completely speechless as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley knocks it out of the fashion ball park again tonight.

The Brit babe walked the red carpet at the “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” New York Premiere in Times Square wearing Antonio Berardi.

Her red lamé Antonio Berardi Fall 2011 gown is breath-taking.

After wearing many backless numbers, she opted for a strapless gown on this occasion which has a sexy central split and a structured bodice.

I really wish she opted for a different pair of shoes to the nude Louboutin’s she wore to ‘Live with Regis & Kelly’ earlier in the day.

I also a bit bugged by the silver ribbon tied around her neck.

Other than that she looks like Jessica Rabbit, which is a huge compliment.
