Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: June 2011

“Transformers: Dark Of The Moon” had three premiere’s last night.

Tyrese Gibson was in Madrid, Patrick Dempsey was in Paris and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley continued her red carpet run of knock-out looks at the London Premiere held at the BFI IMAX.

She looked very beautiful wearing a custom Burberry midnight blue backless gown with a plunging neckline.

The model has been the face of the brand since 2009, plus she was Christopher Baileys guest at the Met Gala, so Rosie wearing Burberry at this premiere in London was always a foregone conclusion.

Rosie’s halter gown had embellished shoulder straps which formed into single strap which ran down her back.

She now loves to go backless after opting for thigh-high splits for a while.

Small studded earrings and a tousled swept back bouffant completed her look.

Hilary Swank attended the 2011 International Indian Film Academy Awards, which was held at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada yesterday.

The Oscar winning actress was there to present the “Best Leading Male” award.

She did so in spectacular style wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2011 Couture gown.

Her backless fully embroidered sleeveless scarlet gown was teamed with a gold Judith Leiber for Suneet Varma ‘Starburst’ minaudière and diamond encrusted drop earrings.

A beautifully sculptured bun and smoky eyes completed her look.

It’s only Sunday and we already have 2 BDOTW contenders.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s next stop on her promo tour last night was Germany.

Patrick Dempsey, Shia LaBeouf and Tyrese Gibson joined the British actress/model on the red carpet for the “Transformers: Dark Of The Moon” Berlin Premiere.

She was resplendent wearing a Naeem Khan Fall 2011 gown.

The backless floor length silver sequined short sleeve gown was accented with a thin silver belt.

Her side parted blond hair was more voluminous than usual, with soft waves draping over her right shoulder.

She opted for a minimal makeup and black nail polish.

Studded earrings completed this stunning look.

My only niggle with this look is the belt.

I don’t like the way it cuts across the open back.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley fully deserves the title of “Best Dressed Of The Week,” as no one has come close to matching her style-wise.

She continues to wow and surprise us opting for classic, chic, effortless looks.

I can’t remember a promo tour where I’ve loved each and every look.

The Victoria’s Secret model looked breath-taking wearing a Gucci silk-organza and pleated chiffon gown from the Fall 2011 collection to the 2011 Moscow International Film Festival “Transformers: Dark Of The Moon” Premiere this week.

Many of you have said you’ve developed a girl crush on the British star.

On this current form it’s hard not to fall in love.

Stay tuned for the Rosie at the Berlin Premiere.

Their looks ranged from summery whites with tights, ruffled with a pop of colour, monochromatic, and minuscule with lots of glamour.
