Rose Byrne In Valentino – “Damages” Season 4 New York Premiere

My current girl crush Rose Byrne was in New York City last night for the “Damages” Season 4 Premiere.

She looked divine as always wearing a Valentino Fall 2011 dress.

The lace long sleeve nude dress with multi-coloured floral appliques is gorgeous on Rose. Her dark colouring makes it the perfect choice.

She accessorized with a chocolate coloured belt, a silver Kotur clutch and Gio Diev ‘Nikko II’ soft grey leather pumps with silver asymmetrical detail and silver blade heel.

I love everything about this soft romantic look, but I’m not a fan of the deep berry lip colour.

Whilst she’s wearing a Fall dress, we are still in summer so softer lighter lipshade would’ve been preferred.

From far away I agree with you about the lip colour, but somehow in the close-ups I find that it works. I love her whole look

I hate the berry lipstick but I actually think it works brilliantly here. She looks great.
    OTT, Glenn Close looks amazing!

Yes, she really does. They both look beautiful. I like the lipstick.

Love the look. I also think like Marvel that that lipstick works really well

I find that the lipstick works beautifully as well. Love the drama that it adds to this look. Another brilliant effort from Rose.

I love this but…even more importantly, how amazing does Glenn look!!!

It’s official – I don’t like sheer sleeves. But I actually do like the deep lip color. I think it works because the rest of her makeup is relatively subtle.

I’m not liking the makeup at all, but dress and hair are very beautiful

Not a fan of this. The dress is frumpy and the lipstick is really unflattering.

Why is it Rose Byrne always looks better in the outfits than the fashion models on the runway?

  10. Joy June 30, 2011 at 14:25 #

    She’s been looking flawless lately.

Love the lipstick, but the rest of the make-up should have been softer, especially the blush.

I agree. The makeup seems a bit heavy.

I am starting to like her as well. She has a feature in the UK instyle, which displays her flawless taste in Aussie and French street style.

I think she looks great, but I really don’t like the dress. Agree that it is frumpy and overly fussy. But somehow the entire effect of her in it works.

i just find this look too much for fall. The colours are so muted for a summer look, so that puts me off the look.

In October i would probably love it.

Penny Lovell, you and Rose have done it again. Classing up a great outfit. Kudos to you both.

I like it from head to toe. She looks great, I love hair and make up, too. She deserves to be up for BDOTW, for me.

      Me too. Fantastic look.

I actually like the berry lipstick. It feels like a touch of colour that stands out without overpowering the nude/neutral colors of the dress. Can’t say the same thing about the heavy coral blush. But even though she looks fantastic. BDOTW contender!
