As the face of Jaeger-Lecoultre Reverso, Diane Kruger attended their 80th Anniversary celebration at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris in France yesterday, with her boyfriend Joshua Jackson.
The German actress wore a Vionnet Fall 2011 dress.
Her blue laminated macramé lace dress was considerably lined on the top half in comparison to the runway.
Considering this was an event for a big brand she represents, I think she made the right choice to opt for the modest version.
I love that the skirt with a black pleated panel wasn’t lined otherwise the look would’ve been too watered down.
Even though she didn’t need them, on this is one occasion I don’t mind tights on the red carpet because the denier is not to thick. Not just because it’s Diane Kruger.
She completed her look with a gold Jaeger-Lecoultre Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin watch which is engraved with her initials, drop earrings, a fuchsia satin clutch and Gucci ‘Kelis’ platform heels.
Diane has worn these heels several times on the red carpet since first wearing them back in February.
The fresh faced beauty is radiant in her Fall look.
She rarely fails on the red carpet.

She looks great -as usual- but on his occasion, tights do bother me. The lenght of the dress is long enough not to wear them. Besides, I’ve never been a fan of tights with open shoes.
I’m happy to see this Vionnet number worn by someone like Diane, as I believe it’s red carpet worthy, however I would’ve prefer a nude lining to highlight this gorgeous blue lace.
That´s exactly what I thought when I saw the dress on Diane!! And I wish she hadn´t worn tights. Other than taht she looks stunning, as always.

I love Diane but tights and open-toed shoes is the devil’s work. I don’t think it’s ever acceptable.

I don’t like it. I think the dress doesn’t fit how it should. When you look at it on the model it looks tighter. I don’t like the length of this dress either.

But what’s with the tights?
Are they tights or knee-highs? The sheer lace allows you to see her thighs which are not the same color as the rest of her legs, which makes me think these are knee-high socks. I think it’s a sexy look, and I really iike the entire vibe of the outfit. LOVE the pop of fuchsia with the clutch and the earrings.

I really love this look! and the tights don’t bother me at all because they are barely noticable because all my attention is on how beautiful her dress is! and i also love her hair and make up! definitely BDOTW in my opinion!

I have no issue with the hosiery. Sometimes it works and in this case it does. The color blue looks lovely on her ans I like the pop of color with the bag. She looks amazing.

i don’t mind thights in winter, because of the cold, but it was over 30°C yesterday in paris so i don’t even understand how she could stand even wearing them.

A nude lining would have been MUCH better. And It was definitely too hot in Paris yesterday for tights. I can understand wanting to copy a runway look from head to toe but this wasn’t a good idea imo.
Pantyhose, or worse – knee-highs?!!? – with a dainty open sandal? Consider me appalled.
