Gwyneth Paltrow was seen out in London last night, as she made her way to Beyonce Knowles’ performance at the Shepherds Bush Empire.
Unlike the torrential rain, thunder and lightning we are experiencing today, yesterday was a very warm and sunny day in the capital.
Gwynie wore a beautiful Étoile Isabel Marant Bell printed silk-chiffon dress which accentuated her bronzed glow.
Her blue and white print dress was embellished with metallic-silver embroidery to provide a shimmering finish.
A Ralph Lauren belt and Givenchy crossover leather sandals completed her bohemian summery look.

While I enjoy the dress and shoes combination, would it really have been too difficult for her to brush her hair before putting it the same ponytail she wore for jogging/yoga/whatever sweaty activity led to that mess?

As isabel marant is such an effortlessly chic Parisian brand, i think the slightly messy ponytail captures the ”spirit” (cheesy sounding i know).

Well, I would say that this ponytail is a lot more than “slightly” messy. To me, this is SO “effortless” – literally – that she completely loses the “chic” from the neck up. The idea with effortless chic is to not let the effort SHOW, not to truly make no effort. Very Renee Zellweger – get the bottom part totally right and then ignore anything going on with face and hair.
I love this look! Gwyneth has evolved an intersting style the past years..Her shoe choices are always great!
