Julia Roberts attended the “Larry Crowne” LA Premiere with her co-star Tom Hanks last night.
I was going to say this look is classic Julia; suit, hands placed in front her stomach, but she isn’t wearing black.
On this occasion she opted for a midnight blue (big deal for Julia) Gucci Pre-Fall 2011 suit.
The suit was styled with a green necklace to provide delightful pop of colour.
Julia’s hair was neatly swept back in a sleek bun save for side swept bangs.
Black peep-toes completed her look.

boring!
I know some people may find this a one giant snooze festival but I really do like it. It think that this is classy and elegant look and Julia looks beautiful.
I really like it too
nice but nothing special at all.
I find the fit of the pants a bit off, but love the picture of Julia with Tom, you can really appreciate how lovely she is from that shot.
This.
Her face is super cute, but those pants aren’t.
The trousers are the wrong shape for her. They also look very dated. Love the necklace, though.
Yawn… even the green necklace looks cheap. But I see that TH doesn’t seem particularly dressed up either… But for gosh sakes it’s a premiere people! Not a photocall!
Another day at the office.
I love her!
she’s so cute
god bless xxxxx
i am excited to see the movie. Not excited about seeing another Julia always mourning press tour
Boring, and not very flattering. Something is off about the top. I think it would be more flattering if it was a regular top instead of what appears to be strapless.
Hair and makeup are nice. Necklace is too long and pants are the wrong shape. This is on the boring side.
To really shine in a look like this, you need impeccable tailoring which Julia is lacking here. The fit is just not right, and to me, she looks frumpy.
Well it looks black to me. Anyone looking at it would put it into the category of her black outfits. She’s going for that sleek look but when you do that, the fit has to be perfect and it’s not here. Look to Monica Bellucci who wears those D&G pantsuits at the right fit.
But I kind of like that Julia Roberts doesn’t play the red carpet game. She doesn’t care. So all you people who are like “I will only see an actresses’ movie if she impresses me with her wardrobe on the press tour” guess you’re missing out on Julia Roberts films.
I will take it that that last paragraph was a lame dig at my comment on Cameron Diaz, because I was the only one who said that. So there is no need to hide behind “So all you people.”
I haven’t seen a Julia Roberts movie since Ocean’s Twelve (2004) and prior to that Erin Brockovich (2000)
I hope that answers your very thinly disguised dig.
Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure you’re not the only one with that mindset. Meryl Streep is probably the greatest living actress, but oh if her press tour outfits aren’t fashionable and trendy enough, let’s skip Meryl Streep’s film then?
She really looks good, but the outfit is really ugly. I remember her looking great maybe only when she won the Oscar, wearing vintage Valentino… The fit is terrible, the pants unflattering and the necklace nonsense with that top, it should have been shorter. Boring shoes, and she looks pregnant.
