I was really honored to be asked by Vogue Italia to interviewed for the Vogue Black section of their site.
I usually cringe when I see pictures or interviews of myself, but I really love the way the feature turned out, especially as I had so much fun getting dressed up with the stylists on set.
My favourite was the Antonio Berardi purple dress.

People have raised criticisms about the site’s decision to have special sections devoted to “black” and “curvy”, arguing that it encourages separation and segregation. What are your thoughts?

I never understood the criticism of the “Black”, “Curvy” section.
I’m happy that both have a prominent space on Vogue.it.
No other mainstream publication caters to either market.
At some point it will no longer be an issue, but for now I’m happy they exist.
well they could always just cater to us in their main publication and site, like the rest of their “normal” consumers. but anyhoo, you look fabulous, and congrats on the recognition.
