Beach Style: Katie Holmes In Isabel Marant Shorts

Katie Holmes took time out to enjoy a day at the beach with her daughter Suri in Miami, Florida recently.

The actress wore Isabel Marant Mitchum low-rise stretch-denim shorts from the Spring 2011 collection over her burgundy bikini.

Katie covered up with a Current/Elliott shirt, which gained her many cool points but they are lost instantly lost with that ‘Inspector Gadget’ green hat.

A horse-print Hermes Steeple tote large enough to fit towels and suntan lotion plus a Jennifer Meyer “S” pendant necklace completed her look.

  I think that was to prevent the paparazzi from taking a picture of her in a swimsuit which although it would be inappropriate they would still do it.

    But it’s crazy, anyway… a child bathing with a dress on… sorry but to me Katie and Tom sometimes are creepy. I don’t like the look, anyway, the hat is so ugly. I saw a photo of Kate Bosworth wearing those shorts, really better.
