Katie Holmes took time out to enjoy a day at the beach with her daughter Suri in Miami, Florida recently.
The actress wore Isabel Marant Mitchum low-rise stretch-denim shorts from the Spring 2011 collection over her burgundy bikini.
Katie covered up with a Current/Elliott shirt, which gained her many cool points but they are lost instantly lost with that ‘Inspector Gadget’ green hat.
A horse-print Hermes Steeple tote large enough to fit towels and suntan lotion plus a Jennifer Meyer “S” pendant necklace completed her look.

I’m not loving this, plus I saw a picture of Suri bathing in the sea in a dress?
I think that was to prevent the paparazzi from taking a picture of her in a swimsuit which although it would be inappropriate they would still do it.
But it’s crazy, anyway… a child bathing with a dress on… sorry but to me Katie and Tom sometimes are creepy. I don’t like the look, anyway, the hat is so ugly. I saw a photo of Kate Bosworth wearing those shorts, really better.
clearly suri is enjoying herself though and that is all that should matter, plus it isnt like suri is in haute couture.
damn FC you are amazing. im sure not many would be able to ID a pair of shorts that looked like something from any store.
she looks great.
I agree with you about FC, I think that she “identified” the shorts from the lacing. I prefer the runway color, by the way, more delicate.
sand on those clothes and bags!
Swimming in a $200 pair of shorts and carrying a $3000 beach bag? Must be nice. Or maybe just crazy.
I kind of like it.
