It’s always a delight to see Anna Paquin on the red carpet.
The star of “True Blood” attended the Season 4 Premiere in LA last night with her co-star/hubby, Stephen Moyer.
She wore a stunning Versus twill and boned tulle dress from the Fall 2011 collection, which she shortened from the runway.
Both versions are beautiful.
She would’ve rocked the longer version just as well as her mini, but I’m glad she opted to go short.
Her black mini dress with purple glittered corseted details was paired with her favourite black Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps.
A super slick updo, a black Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch and gold Loree Rodkin bracelets – which she could’ve gone without – completed her look.
It’s ironic that my favourite looks of the day – Liv and Anna – are both wearing black pumps.

I hate this look. You can see her boobs poking out underneath the top and it looks like cheap glitter was sprinkled on it. What a waste of a premiere…

I love it. Her hair is fantastic, the dress needs to be in my closet, and I can give her a pass on the shoes in favor of her arm-candy.

Love everything about this look except the shoes. Why she chose black when she could so easily have worn purple and completed the outfit perfectly is beyond me. But a good look overall.

Once there was a woman stuck to a black pumps… that dress screamed purple pumps. Nowadays I love the dress, is so chic and sexy. Is not a safe choice but that’s Anna speciality.
She looks better in other shots, but in this one her makeup looks so harsh, it really caught my eye. Unfortunately, I also think the dress is downright ugly, and the shoes make her legs look bad – not stumpy, but cut off, anyway.

I think that the modified version seems a bit cheap, the tight, longer skirt is classy and balances the see through glittered part. The jewelry is not very beautiful, but I quite like it, after all, but most of all… her hubby looks so sexy… And A. Skarsgard… lucky K. Bosworth!!!

Oh yes, on the A. Skarsgard note, I forgot to say that he was one of the best dressed men I’ve seen in months. That suit is fabulous, so is the shirt, not to mention the tie. Totally A class, and the colour makes his eyes pop sublimely, he’s one gorgeous specimen for sure.

I always look forward to her RC outings, since she can be relied upon to make slightly unusual choices. I think she made the right choice to shorten the hemline- she’s so little that a longer skirt would have swamped her. As it is, she’s wearing it in a way that lets the dress shine while also being totally consistent with her own chic but quirky style.

The dress looks cheap and doesn’t fit.
She doesn’t know how to dress for her body type. She has a great bod but her attempts at edgy usually look like a cry for attention. Rarely gets it right from head to toe. Too bad because she is very pretty. Her best accessory is her very hot husband.
