Samantha Cameron followed in Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Michelle Obama footsteps by repeating her Jonathan Saunders Spring 2011 dress in London today.
The PM’s wife gave her cracked print dress with a green waistband a second outing for lunch with the Queen and Prince Philip in celebration of his birthday.
Samantha had worn the dress a month ago, when she served lunch to the military during a barbecue in the garden of 10 Downing Street with Michelle Obama who was in town for her state visit.
Whilst I don’t have problem with repeats from Michelle, Catherine and Samantha, it would’ve been nice to see her wear something else for this high profile occasion, especially considering it was worn at exactly the same location.

I’m all for repeats, but she might have varied the look by wearing a different belt or a nice jacket. This dress lends itself to all kinds of different looks, so there’s no excuse for not trying!
She still looks nice, though — as does the Queen, IMO.

I don’t really have a problem with a politician’s wife repeating a dress like this – she probably doesn’t want to be too showy while the economy’s so rubbish. Plus this is very pretty on her.

Very nice dress but just a tad on the boring side too – maybe it’s her hair, she always wears it exactly the same way and the shoes could have been more interesting – wouldn’t hurt to have a tiny bit more oomph in the shoe department even hight street – anything but plain black pumps.

as for sam cam, it is sweet that she is trying to be a normal person wearing the same clothes multiple times, but not to big events especially when the royal family will be attending.

I do not like this dress on her. the neckline is too high. It doesn’t flatter her and the dress is too garden party for me.
PUT YOUR ANKLES TOGETHER SAMANTHA!!!! I hate, hate HATE seeing women put so much effort into looking pretty/ladylike/sexy whatever and then destroy it by standing/walking like a 6-year old boy!!!
What is the point in asking a dress to give you an hour-glass figure if your going to give it a triangluar base? A different stance would have made a huge difference to this look IMO.
