I absolutely adored Jayma Mays look at the 2011 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, which was held in LA today.
The “Glee” actress stood out wearing an Elise Overland printed strapless dress.
I love the mix of colours which perfectly coordinates well with her Ann Taylor fold-over peach clutch.
As much as I love this look, I wish the clutch and her Jimmy Choo ‘Eros’ platform pumps were better matched colourwise.
I guess Jayma wanted her dress to be the main focus of this look, which it is.

its so refreshing. i love it.
I think she should have matched her bag and shoes so that it would anchor the outfit together. I love her dress and clutch but because of her shoes, her outfit looked off.
Gorgeous!
To me the clutch gets in the way–literally. It is a real distraction–I think it would have been better if her shoes were the color of the clutch and the clutch were more neutral.
Yes, the clutch looks like she is just holding an empty envelope.
I don’t even notice the shoes, honestly, because of how FABULOUS the dress and clutch are together. So very well played!
My only concern is how thin she’s looking… Sandwiches are your friend, Jayma!
I agree. The dress is beautiful, and I even like the color of her nail polish with it, but one of the first things that really struck me is how very thin she looks.
I agree, the dress and clutch are both gorgeous pieces and gorgeous on her, but her tininess always alarms me a bit.
Deliciious!
The dress is cute, and fresh, but I don’t like accessories, I would have chosen a clutch which matched a bit more one of the colors of the dress. Nude pumps? A dress like these needs cute sandals… I also don’t like the tan and her hair, too simple. After all, I don’t like it, accessories make the difference and hers are quite ugly.
I love it! So summery! Yay! I love the clutch as well, the only thing I don´t like are the shoes… Some strappy sandals would be preferred with this summery look.
Gorgeous dress, check. Funky-cool nail polish, check. Nice clutch, check. It’s summer, it’s LA, I just know there will be some cute sandals or even a peep toe sling-back to top everything off.
Silly me.
It’s a little too youthful for her, I wish someone like Dakota Fanning or Hailee Stainfeld had worn this.
Beautiful dress
…to buy diamonds
lack of imagination on the shoes and the clutch…and nooo jewels…or lil a braclets
she must be stingy
I really like the dress and shockingly I don’t mind the styling except for the shoes. The clutch I think kind of works. But still, the dress is the winning part of this look for me.
She needed to wear nude sandals. Everything else works.
i love her fresh face, she looks like she has hardly any make up on.
I don’t mind too much the different colour b/w clutch and shoes. It’s a great summery look.
I love it.
