Diane Kruger attended the “Unknown” Premiere during the 61st Berlin International Film Festival at the Berlinale Palace in Germany back in February.
The German actress looked divine wearing a Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 purple asymmetrical flowing dress with embellished sleeves and bodice detail.
A simple black clutch and Gucci ‘Kelis’ platform heels completed her look.
Zhang Ziyi wore the same dress when she arrived at the gala premiere of ‘Larry Crowne’ on the closing night of ScreenSingapore 2011 last week.
The Asian actress also opted for Gucci heels, but her triple platform pumps are horrific with this dress.
Both actresses opted for minimal jewels, but on shoe choice alone Diane wins by a very long distance for me.

for some reason it disappears for a short period in the mornings
The dress sits insanely poorly on Diane (it seems to be pulled up and back, creating the illusion that she’s pregnant especially combined with her posing), while Zhang kills it with the shoe choice.
After seeing the title, I thought it was going to be a battle of fashion goddesses, but after seeing the picture, it seems to be more of a question who butchered it less.
Such a waste.

Agree completely that the fit is strange on Diane. So the look of the dress itself goes to Zhang Ziyi. But I also agree with FC that “on shoe choice alone” it goes to Diane. Diane FTW.
