Before Cheryl Cole was sacked from the US version of the X Factor, she was spotted at Chicago airport making her way to the next round of auditions.
She was in head-to-toe labels starting with an Alice + Olivia checked cotton and wool-blend blazer.
The rest of her look included a Eugenia Kim Gary cap, Aubin & Wills corsbie shorts and Marc by Marc Jacobs spotted wedges, which we saw her wear later at the auditions.
Emma Roberts wore the same Alice + Olivia blazer on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last week.
The young actress teamed her blazer with an Alice + Olivia ‘Louise’ leather skirt, a printed tee and obligatory black Brian Atwood pumps.
Cheryl wins for me.
I’m not at all fond of Emma’s look as the blazer feels like the odd piece out of this look and I hate the pumps.
Someone introduce this girl to a sandal.

Posh, classy understated but pops
Not everybody looks like good in sandals. I think I don’t have nice foot, so I hate sandals on my feet.
Maybe Emma feels the same way and That’s why She prefers pumps
My feet are the worst. I have to put make-up on my corns, but I still rock sandals.
Yes, that’s what I think – She must really hate her toes. I voted for Cheryl Cole, I’m not fond of the school girl look. The proportion is off, but maybe it’s camera angle?
Yes, but must it be heavy all the time? I don“t get how they have so many options & yet they all choose the heaviest shoes one can find. + there are so many kind of sandales, so one can always hide the ugliest part of his feet but still wear some.
I say abolish platforms–a high heel without that platform has a much better chance of avoiding the heavy look.
Both of them look good but I think emma wins.I also disagree because I think the jacket adds a pop of color to her look!!!
No, no, no, sandals suck! As for me, that’s one thing she doesn’t have to learn;)
I miss Cheryl i must say, because she always delivers interesting style. X-Factor will be so dull with copycat Nicole & trainwreck Paula. smh
Emma because I prefer the fit on her, and I don’t like Cheryl’s hat.
I prefer the way Emma wears it, Cheryl brings the blazer down with her casual street style here while Emma makes it look more glam.
Both look good but Emma wins for me coz she`s got nice legs.
I can’t stand Cheryl’s hat.
Cheryl exercise that legs…
I agree the shoes are a little heavy for Emma’s look but this bothers me far less than Cheryl’s -hmm how can I put this nicely?-less shapely legs and cankals.
lol and emma has shapely legs? i didn’t know sticks had shape. learn something new everyday
Whoa-thats a bit snotty. I didn’t say that Emma had shapely legs but I do prefer sticks to trunks!!!
Emma wins! I love the mix of materials on her and I’m not a fan of sandals on myself so I’m ok with that. On top of that, no-one wearing a newsboy cap will ever win a ‘who wore it better’ as far as I am concerned.
I am astounded at how many prefer Emma’s look. Between the two, Cheryl’s seems effortless and casual (though I’m no fan of the cap, it doesn’t detract) whereas Emma’s seems stiff and forced, not to mention the pairing being ill-suited. Wow.
Sorry
I normally agree with you but I like Emma’s combo better. From Ankle up. But cheryl is just not working anything for me.
Really dislike Cheryl’s look. The jacket doesnt even fit and it looks frumpy. Emmas outfit wins by a long shot. x
I think both looks are good in different ways but prefer Cheryl’s look. Casual and good for a flight style.
