Eva Longoria was spotted in Washington, DC today making her way to The Farm Worker Help Bill press conference at the House Triangle.
The “Desperate Housewives” star continues to support her celeb BFF Victoria Beckham.
Eva becomes the first celebrity (excluding VB herself of course) to wear a look from the designers Fall 2011 collection.
I instantly recognised Eva’s dress despite it not being on Style.com, because I had seen the dress during the Victoria Beckham Fall 2011 press preview back in March.
The Victoria Beckham colour-block A line dress appears more fitted around the waist on Eva.
You may remember that Eva had a similar style of dress modified in this same way.
Whilst I like the dress, I wish her grape colour Ferragamo pumps had been better colour coordinated to match the plum top half of Eva’s dress.
I’m guessing that was the plan.
Inside it may have worked well when she was getting ready, but in the cold light of day it didn’t quite take.

The dress is okay. It is not really doing all that much for her. The shoes are okay with the dress.
superb
I don’t mind the 3 different colours between the dress and shoes, but I don’t think she should have had the dress fitted around the waist – it doesn’t complement her rather thick waist (the only part of her that’s not petite!)
That’s a great point, obviously she has a great body but she doesn’t have a defined waist so a looser fit would’ve been more forgiving.
Even a woman with a thinner waist could have looked so thick. A horrible choice.
I agree, the seam is in the wrong place for this to look good as a fitted dress on anyone, but especially the petite but boxy Eva.
kinda boring
I think it shouldn’t be fitted at all, A line would have been a lot more flattering
I agree with you. The shape of this dress is awful and not flattering, at all.
i like the colours, agree about the shoes and i feel it’s now too fitted and does not sit well.
I agree about the colours and the fitted waist. She should have had fitted the waist and the hips or just let it more flattering. Nevertheless it is one of few outfits that doesn’t look perfect on her
Next week its getting better……………………:D
No wonder Victoria hasn’t made her a Godmother – Eva keeps ruining the silhouette of her dresses by altering them. Dreadful
I like the color combination. For me, even though Eva has the body for it, the dress is a little short for my taste.
i just don’t like what this dress is doing to her torso. it just looks distorted and strange. the curve of the dress doesn’t match the natural curve of her hip, it’s slightly lower, so it makes her body look strangely proportioned.
The dress is super cute, but Eva in it isn’t.
I think both dresses would have looked better unmodified. If she wants fitted, something like the green Lhuiller for me was a step in the right direction – an unbroken line of color with asymmetry and pretty detailing minimizing boxiness.
Sinply stunning, i disagree with those who say the dress lost its appeal because it was fitted, Eva works it. Such a stunning dress, and the shoes are great as well.
stunning, anything looks good on her, i think she is underrated
