The “Desperate Housewives” actress wore a beautiful Monique Lhuillier Spring 2011 dress.
Her sage one-shoulder Chantilly lace dress is a divine colour against her olive skin-tone.
A Jean-Jacques by Lena Erziak clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti white satin ankle strap peep-toes completed the look.
From the ankle up she looks gorgeous.

The dress is really beautiful, but I agree about the shoes. I also think that ankle straps are not very flattering for short women, most of all considering the length of the dress, and I agree evillin about gold sandals.
Cut, color and detailing are incredibly flattering. Seems she’s moving beyond her “break-up” wear (try-hard, flashy, too tight, ahem, desperate). Too bad about those shoes, though.
The shoes are all wrong with the dress. I also think the dress isn’t that flattering on her figure. I think someone with more hips would look better in the dress.
