Rihanna performed “California King Bed,” on American Idol wearing a Carlos Miele Fall 2011 gown.
I was so blown away by the singer in this stunning rose velvet halter gown with a lattice detail down the front, that I made her my BDOTW.
Model Selita Ebanks wore the same gown when she attended the Samsung Hope for Children Gala New York City earlier this month.
The look doesn’t even come close to having the same affect on me.
I don’t like Selita’s hair, nor her heavy make-up.
I much prefer Rihanna’s slightly more curvaceous body in the gown, plus her more complementary neutral make-up so she wins by a long mile for me.

I think Rihanna since she gives the dress more life with her beautiful hair and gorgeous curves. Selita looks stiff and like a stick in this dress. And also, the hairstyle is stolen from either Rihanna, or Keri Hilson, which is a minus.
