Michael Kors’ favourite gal pal Heidi Klum was of course decked out in his latest Resort 2012 collection at the 2nd Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala, which took place in New York City last night.
She wore a pool blue cowl neck jersey dress with an open back and thigh-high split which looks amazing against her sun-kissed skin.
Nude Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals completed her look.

When I saw these pics posted elsewhere many people were commenting on how “scary thin” Heidi now looks but it doesn’t appear to me that she has lost any weight. Thoughts?

Gorge color on her. Only Heidi could pull off all the draping in the belly. The rest of us mortals would be scared of that.

I love the color, but I don’t really care for the dress. Also, unless this gala was on a boat or pool deck it looks a little too “resort” for a New York” city event.

I’m in love with it. I wish i had the body type to pull it off, but I’m all hips and bum. The colour is gorgeous, and it does have the resort feel as pam said, but then, if you were supposed to stick to looks that feel like New York then a million amazing looks would never be seen there, same goes for all red carpets and other events. These events are meant to showcase fashion, they’re fantasy, celebritites wear skimpy outfits and light gowns in December, and leave their coats in the limo.
It’s derived from fall colection, I think.
I hope I will look that gorgeous with four children !
I don’t know if you plan other posts about shoes soon, but Heidi is one of the three who always have perfect shoes with Diane Kruger and Jennifer Anniston.
I don’t like it, it’s too loose for my taste but that color looks great with her tan.
This is definitely Heidi at her best. I love the color and the simplicity of this dress. There’s nothing try hard about it–no crazy patterns or embellishments. I love it when Heidi wears gowns, rather than microminis.
I rarely like how she looks but on this occasion I find her perfect. The dress, the colour, the jewellery, the shoes – everything is exactly as it should be.
I like it but I don’t love it. The color is beautiful on her though.
