I love an 11th hour contender for BDOTW.
Gisele Bundchen even had Morgan Freeman blushing at the 39th AFI Life Achievement Awards which honored the great actor in LA last night.
It was Freeman’s night, but all eyes would’ve been on Gisele wearing a beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2011 gown.
Her silver embroidered gown with a draped surplus bodice and a long skirt with fishtail train was accented with a standout pink ribbon waistband as presented on the model.
It’s a beautiful pop of colour, but I also think the gown would’ve looked just as stunning on Gisele without it.
I simple ponytail, a Raven Kauffman Couture ‘Nuit’ clutch, Jimmy Choo ‘Zone’ sandals and Jack Vartanian jewels completed her effortless look.

I love the fit and the shape of the dress, but … I don’t like the pink with this pattern. The pattern (to me) has a kind of animal print vibe, and combined with the pink belt, it’s throwing me off. She looks gorgeous, though.
i like it a lot, but somehow it’s not overwhelming, because with a frame like that, what would not look good? I miss the ultimate wow factor when i first see it, like for example the Kate Middleton look.

I love the dress on her but I am not feeling the ponytail. It doesn’t seem to fit the glamour of the gown.
I like the ponytail,it keeps the look fresh.i think it works with the pink belt.if she had have worn the dress without the belt i think a more formal hairstyle would be needed.BDOTW for sure

I love it, I think it’s a gorgeous dress, but I like the fact that we can write our different opinions politely.
From afar, its looks just ok. On close up it does look nice. But I’ve seen her look WAAAAYYYY better than this. Not blown away, in other words.
I love the dress but I wish she didn’t wear the belt. I just don’t like it with the dress.

I love the dress on the model but I think on Gisele it is just ok. I think it is her colouring, the model’s dark hair and pale skin suit the dress more than Gisele’s honey colours. Also she seems to have lost more weight after having her baby she doesn’t look the same lately, she is currently in Australian Vogue and I had to look at the credits to see if it was actually her.
Definitely BDOTW contender.
I think this would have suited a younger celebrity, such as selena gomez. I dont think it looks amazing on Giselle and i agree that she looks very skinny, which isnt a bad thing, but im just shocked because when she used to do vs she looked so curvey on the runway!
Sadly enough, as far as I remember VS fired her for being too fat !?!?
VS didn’t fired her. It was Gisele’s choice not to renew the contract. Apparently, 5 million dollars is not enough money =P

I like the ribbon – in different color. The pink is unflattering with her skin tone. I would suggest lime green, maybe teal.
stunning! I think her body can wear any clothes its not fair. and she is thin but um she is a Supermodel. they have to be. Gisele is thicker than the runway model wearing the look.
