Demi Moore wore her favourite colour to the Samsung Hope for Children Gala in New York City.
The actress opted for a black Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2011 v-neck dress with an embellished bodice of bugle beads and feathers.
The tea-length dress was paired with black Jimmy Choo ‘Vamp’ sandals and a metallic ombre Louis Vuitton clutch.
This is classic Demi – colour-wise – but I love it.
I also love that she did something different with her hair for a refreshing change.
It’s lighter in colour and it’s not dead straight for once.

At least she isn’t wearing pumps. Do you think she is letting her gray show (would anyone dare do that?) I think this is a lovely dress–she seems to have kind of a Sophia Loren vibe going here
this is one of my favorite looks from pre-fall, demi doesn’t match my expectations for this dress at all
I think she looks so pretty, even in black! Thank God she chose black strappy sandals instead of black-I-don’t-have-other-option pumps
Yay! For once I’m not completely bored by Demi. She looks great and I agree with FC, thank goodness for the change of hair style. (I love the look even more on the model, though).
What the heck is going on with her cleavage? She needs to gain a few pounds…anyway I like the dress and her hair…all in all it’s an okay look.
ditto.
I don’t get the skirt of this dress. It looks like a bell.
This dress is another evidence of how unflattering the mid-lenght is.
I think I would have liked this more if I hadn’t seen the “runway/designer” photo. In it the dress oozes sophistication and retro glam, and on Demi it looks nice but seems more bland, and what’s with the longer strands?
Hm, I don’t like this at all. I think she looks like she’s lost weight recently – looks unhealthy. And I don’t like the length of the dress.
Sad but true!
She looks haggered out!(anorexic)
I wish her to eat more spinach and some red meat!
I agree with you,I don’t like her here and the length of the dress is really unflattering.
Doi you think somewhere in an attic there’s a painting of Demi Moore getting older and older? She looks amazing.
Absolutely hilarious! I like the look, but I don’t love it. You can’t convince me that Demi Moore has not had every plastic surgery known to man (and maybe a few that are not as yet)
hahahahahhaaha you killinh me here lol
hahaha you so made me laugh
she looks gorgeus, but the close-up of her face… it looks like she can’t change her expression anymore…
Wow, flawless face, I wonder what her beauty secrets are? How is how face so ageless? She looks like she is in her twenties.
This is the first time in a long while that I’ve liked Demi’s look. I love this dress, but wish the occasion had been one that allowed the scarf and plume fan. They add so much.
Demi looks very thin and a little haggard in the close-up…….the model looks stunning, love the dress!
I love the dress on her, but I’m not sold on the shoes – daintier straps would have been preferred.
There’s a reason she wears a lot of black, she looks so good in it. She looks so effortlessly elegant in black and never boring IMO. I don’t consider her a natural beauty though. Everything is fake. But she got some GOOD work done. lol.
There’s something off about this look. I haven’t been able to pinpoint it. But really, I think it just may be Demi herself. She looks a little odd.
nothing odd
the face had so many surgeries
she’ll have to do the whole body to keep up with the face
eg from the neck down to the hands!
I think that these galas should be called “Let’s use the word children/poors/etc to gather lots of celebrities and have lots of publicity”. When I see on tv events like this I just see lots of celebrities and so-called celebrities basking in the flashes of photographers saying “I’m here to support a good cause because it’s important”.
Demi is a pretty woman. She looks great. I love you Demi!
