Alexandra Burke In D&G – 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Worst Dressed X Factor Winner Award
Alexandra Burke arrived at the 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London this evening wearing a very summery dress.

The X Factor winner wore a D&G Spring 2011 maxi dress which I feel would’ve been more appropriate for a daytime event.

I may have been forced to like the look had she decided to belt her dress like the model, but even then I think it would still look like a tent on her.

The floral print is the same floral print of Elle Fanning’s MTV Movie Awards playsuit.

A belt would definitely have helped. And to tie the straps differently so the dress sits lower on her chest. Again, as on the model. I can’t decide if I don’t like that colour on her or if it’s the make-up that’s throwing me off. One of the two is not working in my opinion.

It looks like a nightie on her. Amazing how a belt here and a neckline adjustment there can change every thing.

Come on the dress is oky maybe not syitable for the event , and I do agree with all that she should consider wearing it with a belt . I

She really should have worn a belt.

If she had worn it like the model on the runway it would have been ok, but this way it looks like a nightgown, also because of the lack of accessories.

    Poor styling and dress choice…

Definitely looks like she’s headed for a pajama party. What could she have been thinking?

Looks like a night gown on her, the model makes this dress look much better.

I love the dress and the way she styled her hair. I find the make-up is quite fresh. But yes, a belt would have made all the difference … shame.
