Jessica Alba In Diane von Furstenberg – 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards

Best Colour-Blocking Award
Jessica Alba is the hardest working mother-to-be in Hollywood.

She attended the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards looking radiant wearing a custom Diane von Furstenberg dress.

The coral and purple colour-block look was inspired by the Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2011 collection.

This has to be my favourite maternity look from her so far.

Jessica accessorized with Fallon jewels. I especially love those gold cuffs.

Her look was complete with sparkly embellished Casadei peep toe pumps and a Roger Vivier Boite de Nuit Cotte de Maille clutch.

I don’t necessarily love the hair , but the rest of the look is stunning.

Inspired by Cheryl Cole on the X Factor audition?
but I love Jessica’s hair better.

It kinda had a Gucci feel to it when I saw it, but I’m happy to learn it’s DvF. A bit too droopy for me, but I still like it. The colors are great for her.

This is how you work color blocking *cough Cheryl Cole

She looks smashing! The make up is definitely on point with the outfit.

Her bosom looks sloppy in this. The colors are gorgeous on her but really for something custom made they could have come up with a better fitting top.

I was going to say the same thing about bosom. It gives her a saggy boob look. I want to pull the shoulder fabic up to give her some link, cause you know her girls aren’t down there ;)

Gorgeous! She looks comfy and stylish. The colors are beautiful

I’m kind of tired of color block looks, we’ve seen soo much lately (especially on street style). However I have to love this look, she looks so beautiful and the color combination works perfectly

She looks stunning. Love this whole look.

I’m not a fan of color blocking. And the fit on top is off or the girls need more support. She looks radiant though.

I think Jessica looks stunning as she is glowing.. but I am not feeling the dress at all FC… the dress looks a bit like my local dressmaker’s attempt at making a designer piece imo! :S Maybe it’s just because it appears ‘saggy’!?!

Love the color blocking, as the colors look so beautiful on her. Not sure about the boob dept.? Wondering if it could have been more fitted around her larger maternity chest? I think that would have worked better. Totally agree she has had an awesome prego run.

i love the colours, but i am also a bit tired of colour blocking…..but all in all she looks very nice for her advanced pregnancy.

Thank god she didn’t add a turquoise belt.

  15. Luiza June 7, 2011 at 15:59 #

I think it is an ugly dress! Really like her accessories, though..

  16. Hisadora June 7, 2011 at 17:48 #

    So beautiful!!! She looks amazing.

i’m a bit tired too of mixing orange and purple. there must be other combinations, and someone must know them, besides iman.

If the fit of the chest area had been right, this look would have been great. I love the hair, the make up and the accessories.
