Carey Mulligan attended the after-party following her performance of ‘Through A Glass Darkly’ on the opening night at the Chinatown Brasserie in New York City last night.
She opted for a simple Prada Resort 2011 dress with a beautiful floral print, but the rest of her look is a total disaster.
Let’s start with the hair.
Granted she just came off stage from a grueling performance, so maybe there wasn’t anywhere to wash and blow-dry her hair, but a comb and a hair band were clearly needed to pull her hair off her face so it didn’t look so dirty and greasy.
Now let’s move onto the shoes.
We first got at look at these brown suede Christian Louboutin hooves at the 2010 CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.
Why were they not burned then?

Lol at why wasn’t the shoes burned she should burn the dress also. I don’t like anything from this look.
wow my 80 year old neighbour looks more youthful and lively than carey.
she looks like she belongs on board a cruise ship playing shuffle board.
hahah you’re so funny! But you’re right, she lookes awful

oh my God…. she really needs help!
Today, I can honestly say that I look like a movie star! Thanks Carey.
LOL…me too.
Better than a movie star even
The shoes and hair destroy the look of a pretty dress.
Disastrous! i don’t think she realized how bad this look was!! O.O even the dress is not flattering
Terrible from head to toe, really. And she always looks lifeless. I don’t like anything of this look.
She looks like she does not even want to be there.
There’s not a single thing I like about this look.
This is her worst look ever.
I really don’t know why you’re all criticising her so much, there are literally hundreds of posh and not so posh girls around London with this look right now. She only upscaled the label on each item. If this had been worn by Keira Knightley, the comments would have been SOOOO much more positive…
I take this look any time as opposed to the bleached/spray-tanned/spandex look on the American starlets…
Do you people not realise that she just came from a very tiring and challenging play? I don’t think she cares how she looks.
irrelevant…comb your hair
