Most Adorable Award
Finally.
We don’t see nearly enough Giambattista Valli on the red carpet, but Selena Gomez was glowing in her Spring 2011 look tonight at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.
Selena is growing up to be quite the sophiscated young lady on the red carpet, and this Valli choice proves that.
Her look includes a silk top with a photoprint of the mouldings at the Petit Trianon at Versailles, and a two-tone ruched silk skirt with a white silk band.
Whilst I prefer the colour of the skirt on the runway, Selena’s pumps perfectly complement the look so this get a thumbs up from me.
A half up/half down hairstyle, large gold earrings and an ivory clutch completed this adorable look.

I think this look is boring. She overdoes wearing white on carpets and her highlights look tacky. It is also very similar to her look at the KCAs. It’s always the same look in a different variation, just like Taylor Swift.
I agree with you completely. Its always some variation of a white dress or a white shirt/skirt/shorts combo and is just predictable now. Plus the hair extensions look so tacky.

I agree with this – not in love with the hair extensions but the overall look was better on TV I think (it was pretty windy over there). She had something different going on compared to her peers.

I think she looks cute and age appropriate. Only thing I don’t like are the god awful extensions .. so many starlets do them, though, that I’m [almost] immune to them.
I think she looks great here and I love the structure and the lines in this look. My one reservation is the hair. A slick high ponytail would have been much appreciated and in synch with the ensemble. The earrings were completely unnecessary as well. A 9/10 from the head down.

Selena is sucha cutie. And always so well behaved and appropriately dressed. Not like the younger generation coughHaileeSteinfeldCough trying too hard to look older. She dresses exactly how a girl her age should (Should she have access to the likes of Valli etc)
Never ever disappoints. And she never becomes boring, ever. Which is so awesome. She’s like the black haired, younger/latino version of Blake Lively- always looks good in everything.
Selena has been looking great lately but those hair extensions are giving me hives. Chop ‘em off, girl!
I adore this look. I tend to half dislike all Disney stars (Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Vanessa Hudgens, even if I like her more) but Selena is my exception. She is adorable and has a great style.
