It was a shock at first, but it took me a very long while to get used to Emma Stone’s beautiful blonde ‘do.
Many of you informed me that blonde was actually her natural hair colour.
The new hair colour appeared to give Emma a new lease of life.
She changed her wardrobe, her make-up, her attitude; she was literally a new woman.
The actress reverted back her red hue for the screening of “The Help” at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week at the Pacific Design Center in LA yesterday.
I don’t know about you, but I already miss her as a blonde babe.

I love her blond hair it gives her an edge and makes her look more modern and present!
Red all the way! Love her in red.
Proof that the colour you’re born with is most often the colour that suits you best.
Red hair makes her stand out so much less. Blonde gives her an edge that I prefer.
True
Blonde makes you much more glamour.
The red hair suits her skintone better.
Red hair is her “thing,” and she rocks it. With the blonde hair, she just looked like every other random celebrity and sort of faded into the background. Generic.
Amen!
Agreed 100 percent!
ITA.
I agree. She got lost in the blonde crowd. Now you can pick her out in a crowd.
C/S
Red is my favorite color for hair, so I prefer her with red hair. Blond is a bit inflated… I mean, in Hollywood…
I think she looks great either way, but the red really makes her stand out from the sea of blondes in Hollywood.
I honestly had a hard time recognizing her with blonde hair. She stands out so much more with red. Plus, it looks fierce on her. Love it.
does Hollywood really need another pretty face surrounded by blonde hair? I don’t think so. I vote red all the way!
I much rather prefer the red hair. The blonde hair, even though it’s her natural hair color, seemed to wash her out a lot. She doesn’t fade as much for me as a redhead, because it’s an immediate eye grabber than blonde.
She’s rocking both. I just hope her performance in The Help does the book justice!
As with Lindsay Lohan, she looks washed out, as well as, generic with the blonde hair. I think she stands out in the blonde pic above more for her makeup than her hair, and she could rock the same with red hair.
I was so thrilled last week when I first saw she had gone back red. She looks a million times better. The blonde never suited her. Comepletely washed her out and aged her. The red warms up her whole face.
Red all the way, she looks like a natural redhead and it suits her way better than blonde. It’s like Katy Perry, I can’t imagine her with blonde hair but apparently that’s her natural color.
Red hair is a trend I really don’t understand…
Blond is forever…
I know it’s a question of tastes but do you think Marilyn Monroe would have had the same success if she had been red?
When you have classy/iconic blonds like Emma or Blake L., I don’t understand the interest of ditching it to jump on the “trends-train”…
Emma isn’t following a trend, she was red for years before she went temporarily blonde for her role in Spiderman.
Fashion Critic-what happened to all of the older posts on your website?! You know, from 07 & 08

I think she works both colors, but the red hue adds a lovely warmth to her skintone and kinda gives her a bad girl vibe that I just don’t feel is there as a blonde.
I like her better blonde. It gives her more sex appeal and she seemed so much more confident on the red carpet.
She’s my favourite redhead ever and I think it suits her and her personality completely, but I agree with everything you said about the blonde hair. She was so fresh and fierce as a blonde… but it also did age her a little.
I prefer the red because in the photo pictured above, her blonde hair makes her look a lot older than she really is. Her red her bring out her stunning green eyes and her cute freckles. She looks too pale as a blonde.
