Red Carpet Fashion Awards

On Trend Award
Camilla Belle attended the 2011 Young Hollywood Awards on Friday to collect the “Young Hollywood Style Icon Award.”

The actress joins the many stars who’ve worn suits on the red carpet recently.

Her white Tom Ford tuxedo was styled with a white blouse with black button plus a black bow tie.

A white Raven Kauffman Couture ‘Luisa’ frost clutch, Cartier jewels and black Sergio Rossi patent ‘Cachet’ pumps completed this black and white look.

I have to say she’s working this look. I just wish her hair wasn’t so over-styled.

I slicked back ponytail would’ve worked better for me.

Aging Award
Hailee Steinfeld attended the 2011 Young Hollywood Awards on Friday in LA.

The new face of Miu Miu arrived wearing a look from the Miu Miu Fall 2011 collection.

As suspected, this is not working for me.

Her ensemble consists of a white top and a black skirt with a peplum skirt overlay.

I’m sure the campaign will look amazing, but she would’ve fared better being the face of the Spring 2011 collection.

What we loved about Hailee when she first started making red carpet appearances was her ability to wear designer clothes whilst still maintaining her youth.

Unfortunately this look sucks that right out of Hailee and ages her by about 10 years.

I do however love her super glossy wavy hair.

Pink lips and Miu Miu glitter pumps completed Hailee’s look.

Despite having so much to catch up on from the weekend, I just had to share this trio of yummy mummies on the school run this morning in London and New York.

Elle MacPherson: My current girl crush of the moment has the supermodel/yummy mummy crown. She looked gorgeous teaming a simple black cardi with red hot Isabel Marant cropped leather pants and Isabel Marant bow front kitten heels which were both from the Fall 2010 collection.

Claudia Schiffer: The German model may not have been going for all out glamour, but she oozed an effortless off-duty style whilst dropping her kids off to school. She becomes the latest celeb to fall in love with the Gucci ‘Snaffle Bit’ Bag behind, Heidi Klum, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kylie Minogue and Florence Welch. Claudia is also following in the very trendy footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow who has been seen frequently wearing these nude Sergio Rossi ‘Maori’ wedge booties.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Was spotted taking young James to school this morning wearing an array of colours. She sported a biscuit coloured oversized sweater which she paired with Rag & Bone skinny jeans. Stone ballet flats, a fuchsia pink scarf and a Fendi ‘Silvana’ top handle bag completed her colourful look.

They all have oversized shades in common.

Jessica Biel attended the launch of the new Revlon commercial at Walgreens in Times Square, New York this morning.

The brunette opted for a Gucci Pre-Fall 2011 suit.

We’re seeing a lot of stars opting for suits, but this teal velvet version doesn’t quite have the summery vibe we got from Rihanna and Elle MacPherson.

Jessica teamed her Gucci velvet blazer and pants with the same horsebit print silk jacquard blouse worn by the model and a pair of dependable ‘if in doubt’ black pumps.

Every time I see Leona Lewis wearing a cropped top, it does make me chuckle considering there was a time she couldn’t live without a corset belt.

The singer helped launch BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s Hackney weekend at the Hackney Empire today in London.

It looks like she may have put her design career on hold (thankfully), because she opted for a Tata Naka Fall 2011 ensemble.

Her long sleeved scallop crop top was teamed with a knee-length skirt with the same scallop edge.

Coral suede pumps, rosy cheeks and pink lips completed her look.
